Want to visit the Outer Banks but can't stay a full week?

The Outer Banks is a great place to visit if you are in need of a quick get away.  In just a few hours, you can find yourself living the island life.  A few days are all you need to undwind, get some beach time in, and enjoy that salt air therapy.

When viewing listings on our website, you will see pricing by week, and two weeks for each property.  However, about half the homes in our vacation rental inventory allow partial stays as well.  To see the homes that advertise "partial week" options, click below: (these stay options are limited to a minimum of three (3) nights. You can also find these same homes performing an Advanced Search from our homepage).

Homes with Partial Week or Long Weekends

Partial Week Details

During our in-season (Memorial Day - Labor Day) and Holiday weeks, partial week reservations can be arranged only on a last-minute basis, on the Monday prior to arrival.

In the off-season, partial weeks may be arranged 30 days prior to arrival (with the exception of Holiday weeks).

Partial week nightly rates can be estimated by dividing the weekly rate by five and multiplying that by the number of nights.

A home that provides linens and/or hot tub for the full week will provide linens and/or hot tub for a partial week as well.

Found a home you would like to book?  Give us a call at 800.635.1559! Note: Partial week vacations can not be made online.

Your Time On The Outer Banks: Top Things to do!

With only a few days to experience the Outer Banks, here are the popular things that you won't want to miss while you're here!

If you're staying on the Northern beaches of Duck or Corolla, we recommend visiting the Currituck Lighthouse or a Wild Horse Tour of 4x4 Carova Beach. If you're staying on the Southern beaches of Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head, we recommend visiting Jockey's Ridge State Park!

Weekend Rental Tips:

  • Weekend Rental stays should begin and end during the same week - for example: If the home's turnover day is Sunday then a Thursday - Sunday stay would be easier to book than a Friday - Monday. (We may accept bookings for stays that overlap turnover day with permission from the owner, but it is not guaranteed)
  • With only 3 or 4 nights on the Outer Banks, you won't want to spend a lot of time at the Grocery store or Walmart. Bring necessary supplies from home like hand soap, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. For a full list of things to bring click here.
  • Almost all vacation rentals on the Outer Banks are 100% occupied from mid July - mid August, we suggest avoiding these dates when planning a weekend trip.
