Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier

Located at mile post 1, the Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier is owned by the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk. The Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier separates the towns of Kitty Hawk and Southern Shores. The Kitty Hawk was closed in 2003 after being devastated by Hurricane Isabel. A few years later it was purchased by the Hilton Garden Inn, remodeled and open to the public in 2008!

Avalon Fishing Pier

Located in Kill Devil Hills at mile post 6 (2111 N Virginia Dare Trl, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina 27948), the Avalon Fishing Pier was built in 1958.

Nags Head Fishing Pier

Located in Nags head at mile post 12, the Nags Head Fishing Pier offers a restaurant and tiki bar with live music seasonally.

Jennette's Fishing Pier

Jennette's Pier is located at mile post 16 in Nags Head. Jennette's pier was recently renovated by the North Carolina Aquarium. It now includes an event facility (very popular for Outer Banks Weddings), an large indoor aquarium and enormous wind turbines which generate power for the facility.

Outer Banks Fishing Pier

The Outer Banks Fishing Pier is located at mile post 18.5 in South Nags Head. The Outer Banks Fishing Pier is well known for the outdoor restaurant, Fishheads, which features live local bands and karaoke throughout the season.
