Description

Beautiful inside and out, Nauti Buoys is a wonderful vacation home with numerous upgrades including wood laminate flooring in the Great Room, Dining Room and Den. The well-equipped kitchen has granite countertops and updated cabinets. 8 bedrooms (3 of which are King Masters) and 6 and a half baths, with sheets and towels provided. Many of the bathrooms have been remodeled including new fixtures. All TVs are Flat Screens. The Rec Room with Foosball table provides enjoyment for a great family vacation. Hot Tub and Heated Pool Option. Perfect for Spring or Fall Getaways!

Enjoy the partial ocean views from the top deck and living room. Relax on the decks and feel the ocean breezes, and take in the sunrises and sunsets.

Spend some quality time with the kids in the private pool (32' x 12') with poolside Granite counter-top table. A basketball goal is provided so you can shoot some hoops. The family dog is welcome too!

Nauti Buoys is located in Whalehead Beach, close to the world-class Corolla beaches (300 yards to the beach access), great shopping, restaurants, movies, and historic sites such as the Whalehead Club, the Currituck Lighthouse. Close to the 4 wheel drive area for tours of scenic nature and wild horse tours, stay at Nauti Buoys to make wonderful memories and have a fabulous vacation.

Spacious Home Close to Everything

The home is well situated a block from the beach and is quite large. The home was nice and clean, with an appropriately stocked kitchen. The kitchen/living room/dining room area was perfect for our large family. The property is super close to the Food Lion and several restaurants and grocery stores. Pool and hot tub were great for days we didn't want to go to the beach.
The property management was quick to reply to a very minor issue during check in, and they had frequent automated text communication to check in.
We had a few small issues and one large maintenance issue during our stay, and although technicians came out right away, communication directly from the property management company or owners could have been better, as there was mixed information from the different individuals.
All in all, I would recommend the home again if the maintenance issues we shared are properly addressed.

House is plenty big. Short walk to the beach and a golf cart ride away from the food lion. A few minors hiccups, however the rental company was quick to answer and remedy the situation.

Great Stay in OBX

Nauti Buoys is a very nice house. Everything was quite clean. Living area is spacious and sunroom is nice if you need more space. Pool area was fun and the pool is a good size for a large group. Location near Bonito St made it easy to get in and out of Whalehead. We had a great week and the house had all we needed. Sunday travel was much easier than Saturday.

Great getaway trip to Nauti Buoys Corolla NC

What a wonderful stay in Corolla NC. Beach was so close and easy to access. This area was convenient to everything you need, grocery stores, gas station, restaurants,. I would highly recommend Nauti Buoys for a wonderful vacation stay. House was clean and had everything you would need. Great pool area as well as nice hot tub.

May 2019 Outer Banks Trip

We had a great week at this house. The house is set up well for group meals and plenty of space for everyone to gather at the pool (the pool needs more sun/lounge chairs for sunbathers). The inside and outside of the home is very well kept and tidy. Great spaces for people to get a break from the group as well if needed. The rental agency was wonderful to work with and the keyless entry was a breeze for check in and check out.
The kitchen could use more cooking utensils and items like storage containers & measuring spoons.
We loved the proximity to the beach, attractions, dining and shopping. Overall a great value and an excellent experience!

Great place for a big group!

My friends and I had a great reunion at Nauti Buoys! This property is the perfect distance to the beach, and offers a nice amount of privacy around the pool and hot tub area.The hot tub and pool are huge!The company was great to work with and flexible when we wanted to extend our stay. There are plenty of outdoor seating options at this house- the two levels of deck were amazing! Note- you can't see the ocean from the house, but you get great views of the sunset and sunrise! And, you're easy walking distance from a beach access.

Our only complaints:
-Kitchen wasn't super well-equipped. The pots and pans, coffee maker, and storage options need updating.
-The listing makes it look like there are two rooms with two queens in them, but there is only one.
-We paid for the pool to be heated when we got there, but it was not. We had to do it ourselves.

Darling Home

The set up of the home, location and most amenities were great. Especially for the rental price. We were specifically looking for a rental that allowed dogs and had a heated pool, near the beach, this house ticked all those boxes. The new granite counter tops in the kitchen, the expansive amount of space were all great. The house needs a little updating, but for the age it is in great shape!! The deck is lovely, but could use some new deck furniture on the top level since that is where you spend mornings looking at the sunrise. Admittedly we never used the glass patio dining table, it was too much work in the sun to bring the seat cushions up from the lowest level, general laziness on our part. The hot tub was broken the first couple days and the heated pool was not turned on as promised. The pool heater control was set a little too high for our liking, when they came to fix the hot tub they also adjusted the heat in the pool to 79, it still felt really hot but without a thermometer its hard to tell if it was above the setting or right on the mark. The gas grill was a little old and dirty (from years of use I am sure), worked fine but you could tell it was starting to go. We were early in the season so a lot of these things will likely be addressed as the season gets underway. The wifi didn't work all week (which is usually a cable problem) I kept forgetting to tell maintenance every time we spoke about the pool (as obviously that was more important to us), I am sure it is an easy fix once made aware.

Over all - honestly it was a lovely stay, close to amenities, close to the beach, the pool is great size and capacity and layout. We had a small group so the house felt huge! We could have easily fit way more people. We really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities of the house. We weren't looking to spend thousands on a weekly rental, so for the price this house is definitely worth it :)

Great time!

We had 9 adults and 4 teenagers with us on our trip. Had plenty of space with room to spare. The personalization from the owners of the home was a wonderful touch. The only issue (minor) was there were not enough bath towels for all of us. This was just a possible mis-hap with the dry cleaners - not a reason that would keep us from returning. Walking distance (1.5 blocks) from beach entrance. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. Privacy from the neighbors. Would recommend for a great vacation!

We had a great week at this house. Good location and more privacy than you usually get at a beach house. Pool heater worked better than most we've stayed at.Spent a lot of time keeping leaves out of the pool but that was O.K. Hope to see this house again soon.

Family Week At The Beach!

Our family has been coming to OBX for the past 17 years, every year we enjoy the week together, and our week at Scrapbook was another enjoyable week. We had only minor issues during our stay, which were taken care of very quickly by the friendly folks at Beach Realty. Everything was as advertised. We would come back to this property in the future.

Great Weekend With Friends

The house was wonderful. We loved having the pool and hot tub, especially because the ocean was a little cold during our stay. The house was clean and we were happy with the location. We also appreciated the cheesecake, it was delicious! The only problem was the Cat coat hanger in the kitchen entrance area. I cant tell you how many times someone caught something on those or hit a hip on that, might want to think about moving that particular decor elsewhere. Other than that, it was a great stay! Thank you!

Spring Break for the Seniors

Upon arrival found home to be clean and as listed and pictured. A couple of days into visit after doing some lighthouse trips went to use hot tub and found it not working. The maintainence staff tried for 3 days to fix issue. Other than that home is roomy close to beach and we would stay again, I'm sure the hot tub will be ready for future guest.
