VusicOBX is excited to announce the grand finale of their summer concert series featuring renowned country artist Jamey Johnson, along with special guest Whitey Morgan & the 78’s, for the “What a View Tour” on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.

The event starts at 5 p.m., with the show beginning at 6 p.m., rain or shine. General admission tickets will be available to the public starting Friday, April 19, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased through etix.com on the VusicOBX website. Children aged eight and under get in for free.

Jamey Johnson, known for hits like “In Color” and “High Cost of Living,” is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter hailed as one of the greatest country singers of our time by the Washington Post. His albums, including “That Lonesome Song” and “The Guitar Song,” have received platinum and gold certifications, while his tribute project to Hank Cochran garnered critical acclaim and Grammy nominations. The Nashville Scene’s Country Music Critics’ Poll has recognized his work multiple times, cementing his status as a standout in the genre.
