Crow's nest is amazing!

We were delightfully surprised when we walked into the Crow's Nest, and literally everything looked as pictured! The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms had good pillows and bedding, and everything was exactly as the ad had said it would be. We will definitely be looking at the Crow's Nest the next time we come to the Outer Banks.

Staying at Crows Nest

We had a wonderful week at Crown Pointe Crows Nest. The house was centrally located and a short walk to the pool or beach. The beach and pool were both great although we couldn't swim most of the week due to riptide conditions. That's not in anyone's control. The house fit our group well - 11 people. There was lots of kitchen supplies , glasses, platters, plates and gadgets and appliances including coffee machines and keurig which I enjoyed. The hot tub was excellent. Air conditioning worked great and we had no issues with the refrigerator which I've had at other rental properties. Great supply of beach chairs and toys! Thank you! One area for improvement is to have the cleaning crew organize cabinets after people stay / it's hard to locate things in the kitchen. Another suggestion is to do something to make carpets cleaners or appear cleaner but that isn't a deal breaker. It's a beach house after all. And I appreciated being able to bring my dogs so with dogs and people you're going to track in sand. A larger second fridge would be great but we really appreciated the second fridge in the game room. I enjoyed the colors of the living room and the dining room table, although a little small, still worked for us. Overall Crows Nest was a great property for us and we appreciate being able to stay there.

The house was nice. Main living space on third floor. Outside was a mess on lower level. Photos on line did not live up to expectations

Joyce, many houses on the Outer Banks have what is called a reverse floor plan, leaving the main living aree on the top level to prevent major damages from potential flooding during Hurricanes, and also to capture beautiful views of the ocean, sound or sunrises and sunsets! The Crows Nest was very spacious and accommodating. The tvs were a little confusing to navigate but everybody is live streaming these days, Ben me in my home residence! Was discouraged there was no elevator. Little tough for me to carry suitcases to the top flight! Overall was a great place to stay.

Oh no, they are calling again?

It isn't that unusual to have to call for slight maintenance issues. This is the first time that there was such a long list of little things that needed to be made right in the house. It seemed that as the week went on we kept finding more items. I wish more renters were as vigilant as we were, as items that should have been reported were not.

Lovely house, great area. Very comfortable. And the service team members that visited the house were pleasant and helpful.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

My family had a fantastic experience in this beautiful home (ages 17 months to 65 years). It had a well stocked kitchen and tons of children's stuff on hand- baby gates, high chair,2 pack n plays, toys, booster seat, beach toys. Beach chairs, kayak, beach cart and wagon too! There was plenty of room inside and out on the decks for everyone to enjoy together or break off for some quiet time. We were able to cook our meals together and eat at the table. Our family had a great time. It was very relaxing.
Home was will maintained and had good floor plan. The house was located in a good location and was close to grocery stores and other amenities. We road on the beach and saw the wild horses. We received great customer service and would recommend to a friend.

We had a wonderful time in this house! The kitchen was well stocked- had a blender and we even made cookies and air fryer french fries one night! Short walk to the beach. Well stocked ;beach; closet- sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. Hot tub was good as well as the hammock!

This was MY first trip to OBX. The weather was GREAT and we look forward to returning next October. It was also fun to bring our dogs. The neighborhood and beach were nice. It was a little alarming to see fox on several occasions both walking the streets and on the beach. In general, the Crow's Nest worked for us (2 adults and 2 dogs) but the property, in general, was a little ragged both inside and out. Our mid-September family gathering was nice despite the weather.

The family was able to meet at Crows Nest with the exception of one sibling due to Covid. The house was very comfortable and accommodating. The house was conveniently located to grocery stores, markets, restaurants and shops. The weather was not good due to the tropical storm, but the visit was very nice!

Fun family vacation

Lovely home, well furnished and stocked for all our needs. Even had a high chair/booster seat. Light, airy and well spread out. One block off of beach, and our beach was not particularly crowded. Had a great time. Very clean, but was just worn enough to be comfortable.

Nice home approximately 10 houses from the beach and down the street from the Community Pool. The house easily accommodated a family of 10 and the 6 bathrooms were a plus. Convenient location that was very close to grocery store, shops and local attractions.

Great vacation spot

We had 5 adults and 5 children staying at Crow's Nest for the July 4th week. The layout of the house was lovely and accomodated everyone well. The house is close enough to the beach to walk and had an outdoor shower to rinse off in on the way back. There are also nearby restaurants, activities and a grocery store. We rented a kayak for the week, which we enjoyed a couple of the days. The owners provided many beach accessories, such as chairs, body boards, etc. The only issue we had was that the internet wasn't working the week we were there. We were able to connect through hot spots at times, but in a way, this was a blessing in diguise as we couldn't check in with work on a regular basis! We would consider staying there again and would recommend Crow's Nest to others. Thank you!

It was like many of our stays in the outer banks, too fast. The house was one of the nicest out of a bunch of nice houses we have rented over the years.
