House was amazing! The pool area was incredible and very well maintained. Only issues we had were the bathroom fan in the master bathroom ran 24/7. You could turn it off and it would turn back on a few minutes later. When using certain appliances, the lights would flicker including in the rooms which was hard with the kids & there was no broom!!!! We searched everywhere for a broom so we could sweep up messes and found only vacuum cleaner and a mop. My kids spilled some chips outside and it was a real inconvenience not having a broom. Other than that, the house was great.

Amazing experience at the Yeti V!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Yeti V! The house is absolutely gorgeous and so comfy! We probably spent most of our time at the house in the awesome backyard. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pavilion, and games. By far the best backyard we’ve ever rented in a house. We were blessed with awesome Summer weather which allowed us to utilize all the fun the Yeti V offers. The bedrooms were roomy and had comfortable beds. The linens were nice and clean. Bathrooms very updated and spacious. The kitchen has literally everything you could need to make meals at the house. Comfy living room furniture with plenty of board games to play. The large TVs makes for nice relaxing after a busy day. Parking was plentiful. Location was perfect with gorgeous views and easy to reach beach access. Quiet and private feeling neighborhood. For the most part the house was clean, just not much attention was put into vacuuming the floors on all levels or the toilet on the middle level hall bathroom. Otherwise, the house was very well kept. The owners surprised us with an awesome and thoughtful gift during our stay which was left for us in an adorable gift box with a sweet little thank you note. Beach Realty was very easy to work with. We loved the ease of check-in since we didn’t have to head to their office to do so, we simply entered the door password and we were home! We had contacted them via text message the day after our arrival for batteries for the remote for the living room ceiling fan and minutes later a maintenance technician came and installed them for us. Beach Realty has an app that explained all the things we needed for our stay and sent message updates throughout our stay. We would definitely rent the Yeti V again and work with Beach Realty.

Another great week at Yeti V!

We had such an amazing week at Yeti V as normal! We love all the upgrades the owners made and enjoy every moment here. It truly is our home away from home. We've have rented this home for several years and hope to do so for several more. Our hot tub was out of commission from Tuesday and still not fixed by the time we left, but no fault of the owners as a third party handles that. The closeness to the beach is a huge plus for us and little kids to make the trip back for lunch or to cool off in the pool for a while.

Wonderful location-very close to beach (access literally at the end of the driveway). Awesome pool/outdoor area!! House seems to have been updated recently with great new kitchen and well decorated. Plenty of space for 2 families. Paid for early check-in and was worth it! At the pool/on the beach by 1pm on the first day! Only issues-we had to clean some when we arrived and there was some garbage under 2 of the beds and the decking (although power washed and clean) is in rough shape (broken off rusty nails and loose boards)

My family had a wonderful week in Corolla. I would recommend your service to anyone. The house was great EXCEPT for the bed linens. The bottom fitted sheets did not fit the beds. Replacements are needed.

The house was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked with any and all appliances you could need. The proximity to the beach was perfect. Only about 50 yards to walk. Groceries, restaurants, shopping are all very close. Only a couple of miles away. This house had plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. One con was the amount of towels. They literally give one towel per head count so we had to keep washing them daily. Also the pool could have used a cleaning midweek. The pool guy stopped over unannounced which was creepy but all he did was drop some water into the hot tub and pool. The owners of the house left us two Yeti’s with a nice personal note which was a great touch. We would definitely recommend staying here. We loved our stay and plan to come back in the future.

The house was beautiful, super spacious and well stocked. It was perfect for our crew of 6 adults and 4 toddlers. Everything was spotless and clean upon arrival. Our Home Away from Home!

As always Yeti V doesn't disappoint!! We had another amazing family vacation, without complaints! We were pleasantly surprised the owners added some cool solar lights to the top deck for relaxing, and moved the comfy wicker furniture up there as well! More pool furniture was also added! We loved the hammock swing added to the master bedroom deck and went out there late at night, just to take in the sounds of the ocean. The weather couldn't have been more perfect either. We had an issue with some ants, but they sent out someone right away to spray! We are booked again for next summer! We hope to be coming back for many more years to come! =0)

Yeti V is absolutely amazing! The home had been beautifully updated with QUALITY fixtures and furniture and impeccably decorated.(The furniture is COMFORTABLE!) The owners have thought of EVERYTHING!!

There is a pool safety alarm system on every door on the pool level for young children's safety and our peace of mind. Baby equipment,dozens of movies and video games,puzzles and books for adults and children of all ages, and the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever encountered. Each television includes amazon fire TV/stick or Roku TV as well as an extensive cable package. The hottub and pool are well maintained and proved to be quite the hit with our guests. We appreciated the heated outdoor shower because we had some windy days. Ground level bathroom access from the pool deck...I could go on and on. Absolutely fantastic. Great neighborhood, great beach access..amazing views in all directions. I can't stop raving about this property! We love Yeti V and cannot thank the owners and Beach Realty enough for an awesome shoulder season stay!

We love Yeti V!! The new owners have made AMAZING upgrades to this home, including a hot tub, which was a huge hit with the kids since it was a little chilly due to the storm! The mattresses were replaced and everyone slept much better! Plenty of seating for everyone. We have stayed here the last 5 years and as always it didn't disappoint. You couldn't get closer to the beach unless you were oceanfront. We have the same pool man every year and its great to hear what a gem we found. The cul-de-sac is great for kids and its nice and quiet. Beach isn't crowded. Its really a great getaway with the family. We hope to keep coming back from year to year!

A great rental for our family get-together! Plenty of room for everyone, nice decor, outside was maintained, location was GREAT, pool was a hit...Only suggestions for improvement would be more towels, a broom to sweep, and maybe a container of wipes under the sinks. Other than that, highly recommended!

We stayed in the same property last year and enjoyed it so much that we reserved it again for this year. We were a bit concerned that the rent would be higher, but remodeling was promised so we went ahead with the reservation. We are so glad we did. The renovations were beautifully done and the new hot tub was a big hit. Another terrific year at the OBX.

First Time Renter

It was me and my family’s first time visiting the Outer Banks and I have to say that this was the perfect location. Despite a few flaws in the property itself, it was nice. The semi ocean view and convenience to the beach was awesome; the location is also very close to places to eat and souvenir shop. The property management was very responsive to our inquiries and we appreciated that. They even took care of an external issue that we noticed while scoping out the location prior to our stay. I would stay at Surf’s Up again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Surf’s Up. Everything was as advertised. Access to the beach was easy and very close. The pool was perfect for kids of all ages. Having acces to the pool toys and a few beach chairs and toys was very helpful, A notice from the owner indicated that upgrades/renovations were scheduled to be done this fall...including a hot tub. We also had great weather for the week.

Family Time at OBX

We loved our stay at Surf’s Up. We have been to Ocean Sands many times over the years but this was our first stay at Surf’s Up. This is second best to ocean front. The views from our deck were beautiful of the ocean. Walking right out our driveway to the access steps to the beach was wonderful especially for varying everything to the beach. The house was clean and very well stocked with kitchen items. The pool was a great size for hanging out when you needed a break from the beach and to relax. House is close to shopping and restraunts. The furniture is showing a little wear but was still not bad. Our family said we would definitely stay here again. The view, location and pool are the highlights for Surfs Up.)

past memories......making way for new memories

My family has been renting Surf's Up on and off for around 13 years.We had voiced our concerns with some of the homes need of attention a number of times. We were so glad to see most concerns were addressed. We kept returning because this home holds a special place in my heart.We originally chose this home to bring my loving mom as she was diagnosed with inoperative cancer.We spent that time with her there as a we obviously love coming each and every time.The only other concerns that need attention is the ac unit. 3 floors ,1 control,frozen 2 nd floor,too hot upstairs and bottom floor.Also not sure when the mattresses have been replaced. Other then that ,the home owners did address most of our concerns.We hope to keep coming back ,now with our 3 growing grandsons who just love being at Surf's Up!

We enjoyed the house very much. The location was great! Would definitely stay there again.
Only suggestion is updating some of the mattresses and providing extra towels.

Awesome first family vacation!

We stayed at surfs up labor day week and can't think of one complaint. You couldn't get closer to the beach unless you were ocean front. The pool was great, 3-5 feet so perfect for playing with the kids.plenty of pool and beach toys and even a library to borrow books from. I would definitely rent this home again. Kitchen was well stocked. Extra mini fridge and ice maker on ground level. The only thing that would make it better would be a gas grill. Oh and there is a basketball hoop but we never found a basketball.

Beach Family Reunion

We've been to Surf's Up a number of times with friends. This time it was all family. We had a great time. For a semi-oceanfront, it is close to the beach with easy access. The house is showing some wear. Some of the living room furniture is worn, the dining table should be resealed, the cookware is in pretty sad shape and the house could have been cleaner. We had to do quite a bit of cleaning ourselves. The A/C units seemed like the filters needed cleaning, a few of us experienced some issues with congestion and scratchy throats that disappeared as soon as we left. Overall it is a great value and gave our family a very special memory!

Wonderful trip. The house was very clean and all appliances worked well. Been coming for years and has always been great for adults and kids (we are mostly adults now) Still wish there were some more larger cooking pans(an electric frying pan would be great) Will continue to keep coming forever top of my list if we win the lottery

OBX May vacation

We love Surfs Up and have been coming to this rental annually for about 10 years. It is affordable and comfortably fits 2 families. It does need a little updating/remodeling. I think the last major renovation was 2004. We had some problems with appliances but we were most likely the first renters there for the season so I wouldn't worry too much about it. The beach access is great and the pool is wonderful and on the large side compared to other rentals. Culdesac is good for young kids.
