Summer Vacation 2025
Windhaven beach house was absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need for a week at the beach, and an awesome pool to come home to after a long day on the beach, love the tiki bar!! Beautiful decks for relaxing and plenty of board games for the kids. A wonderful vacation with my family

The only improvement I can think of is maybe a way to know if the last renter's broke something and if the homeowner knows about it, two things when we arrived was the louvered door by washer was broke and kitchen facets cap was broke, and it was like that when we got there.

This is our third year staying two weeks at Windhaven. We wish it was one block closer to the ocean, but now that we purchased a beach wagon for our gear it is much more pleasant! We like the pool placement as it gets lots of sun and the underneath dry deck are is great for our own bikes and paddle boards. The furnishings are nice but it’s time to clean the rugs upstairs. A very nice choice for those who love the beach and their dogs!

Perfect beach house in Corolla!
My family and I loved our stay at Windhaven! The house was very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor pool area and proximity to the beach! We will definitely be coming back to Windhaven in the future!

Wonderful Time at Windhaven!
We had a great vacation in June 2024 at Windhaven in Corolla! It was a simply unforgettable family experience, with sunny beach days, family pool time, and countless laughs. Fun was had by all! I'm looking forward to next year's stay.

Property has a good layout. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Comfortable seating in the living room and on the upper deck. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were in good working order. Oven and dryer either need preventive maintenance or replacement. The property mgmt company was made aware of the issues.

Great layout!
We had a marvelous time at Windhaven. My girlfriend and I brought our kids to celebrate their graduation. Each night we made meals together, lounged by the pool, and by day we went to the beach which is a short walk away. There were plenty of spaces for the kids to hang out, for us to sit and quietly chat, and for both of our families to be together.

Perfect beach house
We had the best time at this house and will most likely rent again in the future! Close walk to beach with public parking lot across from access, we spent most of our time outside by the pool, the bar is such an awesome addition! Absolutely would recommend this house 10/10

The house was beautiful and exactly as described. Everyone had a great time. A couple negatives. Bed linens were missing in one of the bedrooms. Only 2 dish towels are provided which is not enough. Cant you put garbage bags in the kitchen garbage cans? Arriving and trying to unpack, its really inconvenient not having one there. Dont hide the salt and pepper shaker. A couple soap dishes in the bathrooms would be nice too.

Great beach house
We enjoyed this house. It was conveniently located about a five minute walk to the beach and if you dont want to walk or have too much beach stuff, theres a parking lot very close to the beach. The house had a pool, hot tub and tiki bar. We used it every day either before the beach or after the beach.We had several cooks in our house and we found that the kitchen worked great for us. There were 9 of us a d we had plenty of space to spread out if we wanted to. If we go to the Outer Banks again next year we

September in Corolla
We decided to spend a week in the OBX because our kids are doing virtual learning and we needed a change of scenery. The house was in a great location and we loved that the beach was a short walk and there was a lifeguard seated right at the beach access area. We had a couple of minor issues with the house and they were handled swiftly and to our satisfaction. The restaurants in the area were outstanding!

Excellent overall. Rental layout and amenities were great for our family. Beach Realty staff were helpful and pleasant. Other reviewers' difficulty with mowing was minor, but it could be improved and would improve family use of the backyard area. we are planning our return!

Great time with family and friends!
We stayed at Windhaven in mid June and had a great time. The house has everything you need for a weeks stay at the beach. Great pool area and plenty of room. The home is pet friendly but you would never notice. Very clean and well maintained.

Love this place!
Clean, convenient & central to everything- this house has it all! Love the pool, hot tub & tiki bar- great way to spend vacation time. Super close to beach access so you can choose the pool or the beach. Well stocked & perfect for large or small groups.

Anniversary trip
We have stayed at this rental in the past and knew what amenities were at the house, pool, hot tub, and tiki bar. Imagine our surprise when we found that the kitchen had new appliances(stove, microwave, and refrigerator). The owner has the property enrolled in several nice additions(golf course discount, horse tour discount, and fresh free bagels) that we have always enjoyed. The rental was ready and clean on time for us to check in. The keyless entry is much easier than worrying about "who has the key?

Awesome Location and SPACE
We stayed at Windhaven for a week and loved the pool, open air porches and convenient location (minutes drive to Harris Teeter, Duck Donuts, restaurants; 5 minute walk to the public beach). Lots of room in the house to accommodate a family, cooking, reading, TV, etc. Thank you!!

We have stayed in the Outer Banks numerous times over the years. There has always been something wrong until this year. We arrived at the home and it was clean, all amenities available, and in perfect location to the beach and shops. The rental staff was quick and courteous. They even called us during our stay to check up on us. We will definitely be using them again.

Wonderful vacation!
Windhaven is a fantastic rental for families looking to relax and enjoy Corolla! Property description was accurate and the home was well maintained and clean. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and hot tub and adults enjoyed the tiki bar! Beach access is ~400 yds but the walk is enjoyable and there is free parking as well. Nice flat streets for riding bikes as well. Would definitely rent again!

Very nice home, well equipped. Great views, tucked in by trees and shrubs with plenty of privacy. Tiki Bar and pool area with hot tub a relaxing place to gather for all. We would rent this house again.

The house was clean & well kept when we arrived.
The only problem we had was the back door. It was broken the entire time & I reported it to Peggy, who told me she put in a work order. No one ever showed up to repair the lock. The other small problem was drainage from tubs & sinks.
Other than that we were very pleased.

The house worked great for our family. Proximity to the beach and shops was a short distance and made it very easy to enjoy the beach, as well as shop for groceries.
One suggestion, have at least one roll of toilet paper in the house when guests arrive. We had driven from Michigan and after a long drive, expected to be able to use the bathrooms.
