The owners of this house go above and beyond to make their home a wonderful place to vacation. He asked me for feedback and promptly made the improvements I suggested. I was blown away by his care and concern and will happily vacation at their home for years to come.

Amazing location! But don't try to cook at home.
Fantastic weather, fantastic location, but don't stay here if you like to cook for a large family. The only issue we had was that if you use the range and the oven at the same time, or if you have more than two burners going at the same time, you trip the kitchen breaker. We had to reset the kitchen breaker almost every time we cooked breakfast or dinner. Also, the ventilation needs to be updated as the house was more musty than when we stayed here in the past.

Another fun week at a beautiful beach house
We have rented this home the past few years and we are always so pleased with our stay. The home is very clean and equipped for your stay. We watched the sunrise each morning on the deck. The owners take great care to make our visit memorable. Their home has plenty of room with a large kitchen area and fireplace for fun family meals! The owners always upgrade their home and each year. Best house in the OBX
Beautiful home that has everything guests would need during their stay. There were a few maintenance issues which the owner addressed immediately. Loved it!
Had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Splendor. It was just the right size for our party of six. We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the ocean view. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some - we cooked and grilled big meals every day. The space was very clean although a couple of rooms had a slight doggy smell which we quit noticing after a short time. The property is VERY well-furnished and equipped and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately the hot tub wasnt working right and after several calls requesting repairs, it wasnt repaired before we left. I dont believe the people listened carefully to what the problem was. We had a Fun Vacation Week!!!!!
This was the best week!!! We had so much fun! This beautiful beach rental has EVERYTHING you need for your vacation week. We made family dinners each night in this fully equipped kitchen and ate together in the large dining room table. We played with the corn hole game out back. We used the grill and ate our lunches on the large picnic table under the deck. So nice to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the deck watching the sunrise on the ocean. My favorite spot!! This location is nice from the crowd

This is our second year renting Sunrise Splendor along with two other families. The home is sparkling clean with lots of room for a crowd and you cant get a better location! This place was perfect, exactly as pictured! Plenty of room for 9 of us. Since April is a little chilly, we got plenty of use out of the hot tub!
The kitchen was well stocked, we loved the fact that it had a slow cooker with a timer.
It was very clean, for a property that allows dogs, there was no dog smell what so ever.
I don't have one complaint, we all had a great stay!

Rented this for week in August/September with my family; everyone had a wonderful time. The walkway to the beach was just across the driveway, and pool available to the cul-de-sac just a few feet away. The house was extremely clean and there were many extras, such as an electric griddle. TVs all through the house. Excellent location--Short drive to any restaurants or shopping you would need.

Perfect OBX home!
This home has everything you could ever want! It's spotless, very spacious, in an awesome location, with a kitchen that has everything you could ever need. The owners have put a lot of care and thought into the home and it shows. The kitchen even has a crock pot, blender, juicer, and egg poacher! We booked for next year before we even checked out!

A true gem
The home was perfect for our small family vacation. We travel to OBX usually twice a summer- once with just my immediate 5 and then later with extended to in-laws. This was our family of 5 vacation and by far our favorite home we have ever stayed in. Weve stayed in another in same community which was also nice but Sunrise Splendor has it all- beautifully decorated, upgrades the owners put into the home were great. We loved all of the kitchen amenities that were all very well taken we b care of- not junk! T

Christmas Vacation 2021
We had a wonderful stay at this amazing home. The views were excellent. The home was clean and well appointed. The gourmet kitchen was well stocked. Everything was just as depicted. We enjoyed ringing in 2022 New Year on the back deck, while watching fireworks in the distance. Took long walks on the beach. Enjoyed the corn hole and the hot tub several times. Great home
I have been coming to OBX for the last several years for thanksgiving and this house definitely was stocked with everything I needed!! I brought my dog and we hadnt brought a cage because we were bringing a smaller car but yup they had one in 2 different sizes!! We have always gotten ocean front and were not sure if wed like sitting back a bit but no worries the view was amazing and the beach just a few feet away. Need more protection when it comes to cancelling thing. My linen package was cancelled by some mysterious person. My refund took 2 weeks to get back on my card so I couldn't just have them charge it again because the money hadn't arrived yet.

Beautiful Beach Home
This is a beautiful beach house. Everything you need is at the house. It was so nice not to have pack all the extras because this house has it. A beautiful fully equipped kitchen was great for our family dinners. The amazing views of the ocean from the living room and deck was an added bonus. Sunrise Splendor is in a great private location, great view of the ocean & very convenient walk to the beach, along with a private (shared) pool. It is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen & extras on the outside for the beach, a gas grill & outside games such as horse shoes & corn hole. Loved the ocean view from the 2nd and 3rd levels.
The house was very clean and included lots of toys to enjoy a week at the beach --beach chairs, corn hole boards, horse shoes and large picnic table to name a few. Perfect Vacation Home - our third year in a row!
We love this house! We have stayed here three years in a row and love the location, the amenities and the upgrades. After our first year, I researched the other houses in the community and this one is the best by far. There is a great view from the decks, even though it is not technically oceanfront. The upgraded bathrooms, the beautiful finishes and upgrades in the kitchen and family room, are what keeps us coming back.

Family Beach Week
If your looking for the perfect house, this is it. Our adult son arrived first and texted immediately “this place is NICE!”. Others talked about the well stocked kitchen and the proximity to the beach. Both are true. Here are other things a renter wants to know. The house, decks and yard were all impeccably clean. Furnishings are all new and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with good water pressure. The master bedroom bed is very firm, but the pillows are soft and comfortable. There is a television in every bedroom and they all have every channel imaginable . A pool company cleaned the hot tub twice during our week. The beach was large and not at all crowded. We had a wonderful stay.

This beach house has it all. Literally everything! We stayed here several years ago shortly after the owners had purchased it. They have done so many beautiful updates. From the Living room, fire place area to the new kitchen table, added a bathroom, updated all the bathrooms, remodeled the master bath. It is all so beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you could think of and its all in great condition. Even a mixer! We loved having the corn hole boards, and the extra beach toys and chairs were awesome too. Its so well maintained. Beautiful brand new carpet through out. We will be back next year.

Best Rental Ever
This was the nicest, best equipped rental we have ever had.We have been staying at Eighteen (different units) for many year - twice a year - and this is the most beautiful and best equipped EVER. I plan to be back again next year at least once, but maybe twice.

Aptly named - the sunrises were indeed splendid!
This house was just what we wanted - perfect location, steps from the beach, close to a grocery store and restaurants for take out but not in a very congested area. It was roomy enough for all of us and the dog, nicely furnished and has a kitchen with everything that you need. This was our first trip to OBX and from this location we could easily explore both the north and south ends of the islands. The rental company was so easy to work with, they even called us the morning we were to check in to let us know that there was a problem with the refrigerator but they had already brought in another one. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us.

Wonderful vacation home.
We could not have had a more relaxing vacation. Your home was just what we needed. We were just a short walk from the beach where we spent most of our day enjoying the sun and sound of the surf while reading a good book. The kitchen was stocked with everything anyone could need. We especially liked having the waffle maker there to use for breakfast. I have never stayed in a home that was so well equipped. The location was central to all that we needed. We hope that we will have an opportunity to return again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Beach house that the owner has supplied you with everything.
We stayed for the month of Oct. 2020.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. ANYTHING that you need is already there, including beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was well stocked and a dream. The owner was very responsive with any questions that we had.

Relaxing Family Getaway
Our family has a planned family reunion and we were pleasantly relieved that we could safely visit during the pandemic. Locals and folks in stores wore masks and practiced social distancing in stores and on the beach. It felt like a private getaway. The house itself had everything we needed and was comfortable and the remodel well thought out to provide a comfortable stay. The only negative is the property doesnt appear to have any recycling collection. The trash protocol could take some explanation as we first thought the green dumpster was recycling only, but eventually we were told trash and recycling goes in this dumpster.

We had a great time & loved the house, it had everything we needed. We definitely over packed. The dish washer didnt work but he came right away to fix it!

Sunrise Splendor - Beautiful Place
The Sunrise Splendor was the nicest house we have stayed in at Nags Head. We will def. be coming back again. They had everything you needed in the kitchen even things you wouldn't think of, like a waffle maker and big pot for corn. You could also see the beach from the deck and the swings were so relaxing. It was a wonderful trip with the family!!

Amazing, Perfect beach house
We love to visit Nags Head and this by far was the best house that we have stayed in over the years. The renovated interior is better than any other in the lot. The views are amazing, and I didn't even mind being behind another house. The beach was empty most days since there is no hotel or public access nearby. We really enjoyed walking our dog on the beach in the morning and evening, and the grass yard was great for the dog also. The house includes great beach chairs and umbrellas, we really didn't hav

Awesome week in Nags Head!
Wonderful place with all the amenities you could ever want. Fun bar on the beach a 1/4 mile away. Did not feel we needed to leave!

Great start to Spring!
So glad we picked this home to reunion with Northern cousin and celebrate the onset of Spring! Clean, bright, roomy and stocked with every amenity(even had nice clothes hangers & dirty clothes hampers in each closet!),great ocean view and proximity, with good beds and a VERY responsive owner...what more can I say!!??
