Summer Song is the perfect getaway home for families of all ages! With a wide array of amenities and entertainment, this home is sure to be the home that everyone wants to come back to year after year.

Your vacation starts with ease. Bypass the check-in office and head straight to the home to enjoy the convenience of Keyless Entry. You won't have to drag your luggage up flights of stairs either! There is a cargo-lift available for your use and can facilitate in bringing your luggage or groceries up to the second floor. After settling in, enjoy taking a swim in your private solar heated pool, or relaxing the night away in your hot tub! While the adults are washing their cares away and relaxing, the kids have access to the Rec Room, featuring a game table with fun for all ages. The game tables comes fully equipped with entertainment such as Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess and Checkers!

In less than 100 feet, you can have the feeling sand between your toes, making beach days a breeze with kids of all ages. After soaking up the sun and indulging in some fishing, your family will appreciate the outdoor shower and fish cleaning table. Grill up your catch, and enjoy dinner out on one of the many decks or in the screened-in porch area, featuring a picnic table. Other outdoor amenities include 2 bicycles, cornhole, volleyball and horseshoes!

Family vacation

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Summer Song. We love the close proximity to the beach AND the great pool. An outside shower is always a must and it’s great for a quick rinse before going in the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped, furniture is comfortable and bedrooms are spacious. The primary bathroom has been beautifully updated. All of the decks are equally nice, offering views of the area. New outside poolside furniture is equally nice. Lovely gesture by the hosts to include a pie or cheesecake as a greeting! We will stay again!

Our 14th year at Summer Song!

As the title says, this is the 14th year our family has vacationed at this property. We keep coming back to this perfect location for family time, beach time, pool time, everything time!! Our kids and grand kids say it is their “happy place!” So many memories have been made!

Nice property overall. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Pool was a big hit since beach time cut short due to riptide conditions. Suggest replace mattress in master with foam mattress and bbq grill needs to be replaced. Bikes need some TLC. Nice beach chairs and the hot tub was nice to have although in a strange place under deck. Sitting area by pool nice and would be better with some shade from afternoon sun. Owner was great to work with and really enjoyed the cheesecake. Overall had a great time.

First Adventure to Outer Banks

The questions receiving three stars reflect the issues we encountered but did not warrant a call to Beach Realty. Electrical outlet in master bedroom bathroom did not work consistently, leak from pipe in carport sink, absence of handrails on indoor steps, no brush to clean grill per instructions, leftover food crumbs and significant dirt under top level couch (which is first view when coming up the stairs). Location was farther away from town center than we thought and traffic was heavy regardless of time of day, so we were late for a few reservations early on in our stay. We did make adjustments. Would have liked the hot tub to be in a more attractive setting than in the carport.

Better by the Dozen!!

This is the 12th time our family has been to Summer Song for vacation! That’s the best review ever!! We love this “property” because it feels like our home away from home. It is beautifully decorated, user friendly, and structured to have fun from our grandkids to our kids to my husband and I (walk in shower with grab bar and elevated lift for luggage and groceries!). We would not consider anywhere else to stay in the Outer Banks.

Summer2021 OBX vaca

Property was clean and maintained well. Location made for easy beach access and the convenience of being in Duck. The pool was so much fun and relaxing and we enjoyed a lot of time in the screened in porch and eagles nest for the views!
I think our favorite part was not having to haul our luggage or groceries up 2 flights of stairs. We used the lift. More houses should have this awesome feature!
Management company was awesome, just a quick text away. We needed propane for the grill during our stay and they brought one for us. Only wish was that it was pet friendly. We have a new addition to our family we would like to bring with us next year.

Great vacation!

We love Summer Song! We were booked to stay here 2 years ago and unfortunately had to leave after 2 days due to Hurricane Dorian. We were lucky enough to book this year and spent an entire week at the beach! The house is comfortable and homey. The pool is perfect and we loved the new furniture by the pool under the overhang. The luggage/grocery lift is a godsend! Close proximity to the beach is a real plus! We will definitely stay here again.

The house is in a beautiful location and close to the beach. The pool was perfect for our little ones with the shallow end and having benches all around.

Perfect fit for our summer vacay!

Summer Song was just right for our summer getaway! The location to the beach, the pool, and well stocked kitchen were all great features. The home was bright, and you could tell the owners took care of this home. We enjoyed the volleyball court but didn’t have time to use the horseshoe pit or hot tub.
We did notice when using the ice maker on the fridge, the door would pop open and it didn’t want to close properly. There was also a soft spot in the far corner of the roof top lookout and my husband noticed a minor leak in the ceiling of the screened porch when it rained. Our girls loved the netting and lights on the ceiling of the screened porch but most of the lights didn’t work. The home was clean with a few minor cobwebs in the bedroom.
When booking, I asked for early check in but was told it wasn’t offered due to covid. I asked if that had changed when it was closer to our visit but received an email saying it wasn’t available when I booked and still wasn’t available since it was first come first serve. The response seemed a bit direct but we were pleased that the house was ready earlier than normal check in.
We would still stay here again! The owners called to check on us and had a cheesecake delivered to show their hospitality! Those extra touches go a long way! This was the first time in a home with a cargo lift. That was so convenient! Lovely stay all around. We were singing praises of Summer Song!

We had a great week and this home didn't disappoint! First the most important thing was AC. It worked great all week! Location was wonderful! The pool was perfect for grandkids. My grandson learned how to dive and put his face under the water. Kitchen was well stocked. We will stay again.

Singing a happy song!

Summer Song was a lovely beach house with the perfect location and amenities galore. You are just steps from the boardwalk to the beach, but still extremely private. The location is perfect for riding bikes and taking advantage of the quaint shopping area in Duck. This house was loaded with extras: private pool and hot tub, a sand volleyball court, horse shoe pits, ping pong table, bikes, beach cart, gas grill, screened-in porch, a very well-stocked kitchen... this house had it all! We enjoyed all the special beach décor throughout the home (there are even flip flops on the underside of the deck above the hot tub!). This home enabled a great family get-away and we hope to get back again soon!

Well equipped home with just a short walk to the beach! We loved the cargo lift it made unpacking and repacking so easy! Unfortunately we were only there for 2 days as we had a mandatory evacuation due to Hurricane Dorian. We would love to return and spend a whole week at Summer Song!

This is a great beach house! It was a 1 min walk to the beach, the house was clean, convenient, and had a lot of extras. The AC worked great, we loved all the outdoor games, the heated pool, the covered deck, and the rooftop deck was awesome. We would definitely stay here again. The owner even gave us a delicious cheesecake! My only suggestion would be to add a griddle to the kitchen to make making pancakes and French toast and etc easier.

Summer Song Duck NC Rental

Walking distance to beach was awesome. Nice views from top decks. Great Amenities including bicycles, games and beach chairs. No need to pack those extras.
