“Memories of vacations at the beach stay with you for a lifetime”….that’s the motto of the Raspberry Duck and we’ve designed and furnished it to give you and your family the ultimate family vacation. The home is located in Duck’s premier Oceanside neighborhood, Duck Landing. The neighborhood boasts its own private community center, which is located right next to the beach entrance. The community center has an INDOOR (30x50) pool, baby pool, tennis courts, playground, workout room, indoor bathrooms and outside shower.  The Raspberry Duck is a short walk to the beach (525 yards) and provides beach chairs, toys and a beach cart. A small private neighborhood with its own beach access assures you will always find plenty of room on the sand.

Relax and entertain inside and out at the Raspberry Duck. There are 2 decks on the front of the home, and 2 decks and a screened in porch on the rear of the home. The large 14x30 pool is surrounded by a tiki bar, poolside cabana with a table that seats 12, outdoor speakers, hot tub, volleyball court, and horseshoe pit. The pool deck is flanked by tall hedges on both sides and woods (not another home) in the rear, assuring you privacy while using the pool. Grill out in the dedicated grilling area on the Weber gas grill. 

Inside you will find 5 master bedrooms and a 6th large bedroom on the lower level.  All bedrooms have their own 32" flatscreen TV with built in DVD and DirecTV. The lower level is a child’s paradise:  separate bedroom with a pyramid bunk bed and the adjoining rec room has foosball, refrigerator, microwave, and a 42" flatscreen TV with Wii and Xbox. The upstairs is designed for relaxing with a 70" flatscreen TV, vaulted ceilings and two separate seating areas. The kitchen can easily house several cooks at one time and is overstocked with everything you need: multiple small appliances, plenty of pots, pans, cookware, and every kitchen gadget you can think of. Our guests often mention how pleased they are to find such a well-stocked kitchen in a beach home.  Off the kitchen is the dining room area, with a table large enough to seat 10 people. Bar stools at the kitchen bar and extra seating throughout will allow large groups to eat at once.    

Don’t like to drive and hunt for a parking space every time you want to go somewhere? No problem! Our home is only a five minute walk from the quaint shops, restaurants, and the sound side boardwalk in Duck village. The boardwalk is over 2 miles long, spanning the entire length of Duck Village. If you haven’t been on the boardwalk yet, you need to check it out. There is nothing else like it at the Outer Banks. The boardwalk winds through the maritime forest, connecting all of the sound side shops and restaurants in Duck. There are multiple places to stop along the boardwalk to view the sunset, birds, and fish, and it’s complete with its own kayak launch and crabbing docks. Right of the boardwalk the Town of Duck now has its own amphitheater and town green where they host concerts, puppet shows, yoga/exercise classes, and other free events.
