Our oceanfront condominium has a spectacular ocean view. Located on the top penthouse level. This unit is very spacious and offers a 2 bedroom floor plan. It is beautifully furnished. Amenities included are carpeting, dishwasher, washer/dryer, jacuzzi, central air/heat, CATV hookup and Plasma HDTV, telephone, books/board games, video library, wine cooler and wet bar. 2 CATVs, 2 DVDs. This unit has two private decks overlooking the ocean. Nothing has been overlooked in designing this quality oceanfront condominium, the ultimate in vacation accommodations.

PLEASE NOTE: RVs, boats and trailers are prohibited from parking at Scrimshaw. 2 Vehicle per unit limit. 20 yards to the beach. Milepost 7. A Stair Tamer Cargo Lift is available for guest use.

Beautiful, Cozy Condo w/ Amazing Views & dated bathroom fan

Staying at Ocean Song was a great experience. There was mold in the common area bathroom, which seemed to be due to an outdated, loud, dysfunctional exhaust fan. Otherwise, the condo was great! Perfect location to everything anyone could want in a beach vacation. Incredibly beautiful ocean view. One small note would be that bar-height chairs for the deck would be an upgrade. Without these, you're looking through the deck balusters at the waves crashing ashore, which isn't awesome. Overall, our week was incredible and we would stay here again!

Hot but Beautiful Week

We loved the deck and made the rental work for us. We had all we needed, but we wish it would have been a little cleaner.

Peaceful Oceanfront Condo

My husband and I were looking for a COVID-safe beach getaway and wanted something small since it was just the two of us. Ocean Song was perfect! We loved the wonderful deck, ocean sounds and views, the comfortable furnishings and the well-stocked kitchen. As other reviews have mentioned, there are several things that could use an update and the lack of a shower in the master bathroom is a bit odd - but these things really didn't matter to us - we really loved the unit and hope to return some time! The luggage elevator is extremely helpful and was greatly appreciated. The beach was quiet and since, due to an offshore hurricane it was too windy to enjoy the beach the first few days, we enjoyed exploring the nearby Nags Head Nature Preserve, Bodie Lighthouse, Jockey's Ridge park and the Wright Brother's Memorial Museum. Ocean Song is a wonderful, ocean front oasis - we highly recommend!

On the Beach

Having a place located on the beach was fabulous. However, the place needs some updating. Having only one shower was a manageable challenge for 4 people, but the place needs a more thorough cleaning.

Kill Devil Hills vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. The unit was on the top floor of the building, just off the dunes, with a huge deck. Consequently there are great views. The unit is spacious, well appointed.
Access to the unit, and the beach, requires use of a three story stairway which could be a problem for some. On the other hand, one must go through the units to access the beach, so the beach is very uncrowded.
Location is great, just east of the Wright Bros. Memorial, and a little north of Jockey's Ridge.
The washer/dryer did not work properly during our stay.

Spectacular View

We have stayed at this condo three times and it never disappoints. It is perfect for our small family and has everything we need for a great stay. We love that it is on the top floor and we can sit out on the deck and see for miles in all directions. The cargo lift made it easy to get our luggage and groceries upstairs. We also loved the fact that we could check in and out without having to visit the office. That saved us a lot of time. We would definitely recommend this property.

We were very pleased with our stay. The location was ideal and the outside space was perfect. It was a very short walk to the beach and a great view from the deck. The condo needed some cleaning especially the carpet and upholstery but perhaps it was because it was near the end of the season. We would definitely stay here again.

4th of July Getaway

What an awesome first time at OBX. The check in was easy. We discovered a leak on the toilet and someone was out to fix it right away.
The house was well equipped and felt very relaxing as if it were a home away from home. The deck was so nice to relax on and enjoy the views. We would definitely come back again.
