MILO's WAVES is located in the highest dune in Ocean Sands D. This home offers the most magnificent ocean views despite its 3rd row location. People have claimed that this home has the most amazing view of the ocean (160 degrees of unobstructed views) in Ocean Sands. Enjoy your coffee in the morning watching the sunrise while sitting in the living room, out on the deck, in the dining room, or kitchen. End each day with sunsets viewed from the kitchen, top master bedroom, or even from the middle floor.

MILO'S WAVES is a short 1-2 minute walk to the beach - just 50 yards to the nearest beach access. In close proximity to all that Corolla has to offer, including golf, shopping, and multiple restaurants. The Harris Teeter is a convenient half-mile to the north.

Happy New Year 2024 At Milo’s Wave

It ended up just being the two of us enjoying the entire house. We ate out the entire week, so we didn’t get to enjoy the big kitchen. We didn’t use the hot tub because the weather was just too cold for me. We enjoyed walking the beach every morning which was the highlight of our trip! I put up a little prelit Christmas tree and I left it in the top floor bedroom closet and hope that others will enjoy using it anytime they want. We celebrate Christmas anytime our family is able to be together. We loved staying at Milo’s Wave and my Service Dog loved going with us everywhere. I’ve already recommended your rental services to friends and family, and I plan to book Milo’s Wave just as soon as I know our family dates! Please Thank the gracious Home Owners for sharing their beautiful beach home with us!

Second Stay

This was our second stay in this house and Wow!!! The improvements were amazing! The first floor was opened up with a sitting area, separate laundry, half bath and door to the pool area.(all new) The second floor has 3 bedrooms and a second full bath was added(perfect). The main floor was beautifully opened up to add space to the kitchen and it was amazing! So much function. The pool and hot tub were well used and the location to the beach was why we decided to come back but the renovations made this a no brainer. We felt like the owners really cared about their guests needs and it showed throughout the home. I would recommend the home and Beach Realty.

Loved the house. Upstairs master bed was very noisy and bed wanted to move every time you turned in it. This was the only complaint. Everything else was terrific.

We’ll be back!

The house was in a good location and we appreciated the recent upgrades. The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking and storage supplies and the dining table was probably big enough for 10 people. The neighborhood is very dark at night, bring a flashlight to walk your dog. The rental company gives you a little one but with no batteries.

The beach is a 5 minute walk and wasn’t crowded. The house had beach chairs but they were broken so bring your own. They had functioning umbrellas though, and boogie boards I think. I’m mentioning that because it’s the one thing I wanted info on beforehand and the rental company didn’t know.

We would definitely recommend this house and hope to come back, I probably wouldn’t even look at other houses next time if Milo’s Waves is open.

This is a very nice home that sits up high, which gives you great views of the ocean over the high dunes. The renovations are well done. The home is comfortable, clean and well maintained. Nice pool area. Short walk to the beach. Located close to Harris Teeter grocery store, as well as many nearby restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

The upgrades to this home were amazing! The fresh new kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms made the house feel as if it was brand new. The rental process was seamless, everything went as planned from arrival to departure. The walk to the ocean was actually shorter then we originally anticipated and the location was in reach of shopping, dining, and fun for children.

Great weather week.

The kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need for preparing a meal. Besides the refrigerator, there was absolutely no place to store food. All the cupboards were full of equipment. Otherwise, the rental was spacious and comfortable.

A week at Milo’s

We loved Milo’s Waves! Our family and dogs had a great time. We loved how close it was to the beach and all the updates were great! Wish there was some grass around the house for the dogs to go to the bathroom. Neither of the sinks on the top level had a stopper for someone who wears contacts and needs to plug the sink so we don’t lose them. The kitchen had everything we needed but housekeeping could have left some hand towels for the half baths.
We had a wonderful week except for the neighbor across the street who would glare at us every time she saw us. She complained about lights we left on at night but some are automatic that we couldn’t turn off. We tried to turn all the others off but she was not happy with us. Idk if we were the first guests to stay there since the update but she has a long summer to deal with renters.
We would definitely stay again! Thanks for the beach chairs, toys and bikes. Unfortunately we never got to use the bikes because the weather wasn’t the best but it’s awesome they were provided.
We loved the quick path from the garage to the pool thru the outdoor shower!

Fun family vacation at the beach

Milo’s Waves is a very nice property. The best part is the view! Overall the house was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. The kids especially enjoyed them. It’s really close to the beach. Some things that could be improved upon. Two of the bedrooms did not have vents for the air conditioning. It wasn’t so bad because it was cool when we were there but it probably gets hot later in the summer. The kitchen was good except for the pots and pans, which need replaced. There wasn’t even a big skillet to cook in. Another thing to mention is that there are a lot of stairs which are kind of steep. It took a while to get used to. We had a little issue with the remotes for the ceiling fans but were able to get that fixed. The house does need some improvements but I know the owners are new and the updates that have been done are very nice. One thing that would be nice is for the owners to have a book that guests could sign. I’ve seen that at other rentals. My family and I would like to sincerely thank the owners for letting us use their house. We enjoyed it very much.

Quiet, cozy rental close to beautiful beach

We filled the house up with the family and our dog and enjoyed a great week at the beach. The house was perfect for our group, beds were super comfy which is so unusual in a rental home. Nice Stay at Salt Eire

Nice house, located close to the beach. Pool and Hot Tub are nice amenities. The view of the ocean from the upper floor is probably the best feature of this house. The king sized bed on the 1st floor was comfortable. The distance to the ocean is close, a mere 50 yard walk. We had an issue with the hot tub not heating. We placed a call to the management company and within a few hours, a rep came out, serviced the tub and got it working.

The house itself is starting to show signs of aging (Rusted nails that hold the siding, decking etc...) and the properties that are in front of the Salt Eire house are older appearing, and weeds growing and have a general unkempt appearance. Overall, this is a nice area that is walkable or bike able with paths that go for miles. The views and the pool make it easy to overlook small signs of aging.

Great Family Vaycay!

This home was in a lovely, central location that was perfect for our multi generational family vaycay. The beach was a very short walk away and the poo/hot tub was very well maintained. We had one minor issue that needed to be addressed that I hesitated to report over the holiday weekend. To my surprise, they fixed it within a hour!

Beach Escape

We had a wonderful time at this well appointed, perfect size beach home. The kitchen was fabulous, the view of the ocean from 2nd & 3rd floors was spectacular. It was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. The owners take great pride in their property. The pool was large and salt water, which was great. We didn't need to rent beach umbrellas or chairs because they were available at the house. All in all, it was one of the very best beach homes we have ever rented in 34 years in Ocean Sands.

This property is one street back from the ocean but higher than other properties on the street so you get a surprisingly good view of the ocean. The pool is larger than expected for a house of this size and the decking around it is spacious. House is very well equipped for TV and internet. The pictures are pretty accurate. Electronic check in was very convenient but rental company did not answer their phone or go to voice mail when we called to say we were checking out. Otherwise would have given the rental company 5 stars because they were good to work with throughout the entire process until check out. During our stay the garbage disposal died and the rental company promptly replaced it. We also had issues with the hot tub after a severe storm. Although the repairman came promptly and diagnosed the problem a replacement part was not immediately available so for our last two days the hot tub was only partially functional. I did not down rate the property or the company because of this. Things break from time to time in my own home and sometimes it takes a few days to locate the replacement parts--and I do not live on a barrier island. Overall, a very good experience.

Very close walk to the beach. Loved the keyless entry for check in and check out. Cleaning clew could have cleaned better (sweeping floors)

Our yearly get away

This was our 3rd time renting through Kitty Hawk rentals and our 2nd stay at Salt Eire. We had not even left before we booked again for next year! This is the most hassle free experience and we plan to keep coming as long as they will have us! House is everything advertised and more.
