We enjoyed a great stay at Jacks! Love the hammock on the deck and convenient beach access. The house was clean and spacious enough for everyone in our party to comfortably spread out.

This was our second time staying at Jack's and we love this house!!

This beach house far exceeded our expectations. The location was wonderful and the house was clean and well appointed. The week absolutely flew by and our stay ended much too quickly. My family has already rented ;Jacks; for next summer.

PS: we did not get the welcome package which was fine since we had brought the thing usually included in it.

Great Vacation, location was awesome, eleven steps to the beach! The kitchen had had everything you needed and more.

We had a great time exploring the Outer Banks! The house location is perfect and accurate in all details. We had no issues with this home. I highly recommend this home for your vacation. The only thing I will say is dont forget to bring your pillowcase rags towels and linens. I missed the small print on our rental agreement that those are available for purchase only so we had to go to Walmart at 10 PM after discovering the beds had no sheets. Not a big deal just needed to be clarified a little better. Every

This was our first time staying at Jacks and it was amazing!! I've already scheduled our next trip!! Many friends have inquired about our stay and I passed along the information to them as well! My only regret is not being able to sign the guestbook but we were just too busy having fun!! Great place for one or multiple families and the best location anyone could ask for!

Generally very good, house was clean and in good order upon our arrival. Well-equipped kitchen.

This was our 9th year renting "Jacks". It's a comfortable home right on the beach with a wonderful view of the beach from the family room. Close to all the things we like to do, Kitty Hawk Kites, Austin's Fish market, Ice cream and a walk to the Pier for breakfast occasionally.

We love how close this home is to the beach. My husband and his brother love to sit on the fantastic deck and share stories. This home has been there awhile and doesn't have a modern floor plan, but we do not mind that at all. The house was clean except for the ceiling fans. We had to wipe them down because we thought dust might fling off if we turned them on. The pluses outweigh the negatives, which are few. We will be back again next year.
 

we had a great week ...mostly good weather but always glad to be "at the beach"..jack's is such a great place...we had a few vacant spots due to kids starting school and grandkids in college...we may have to keep our june dates but not yet sure of our sept dates..will decide soon..

This was our 7th year at Jack's. We love it. Our three children and their families all come (13 of us) for the week to visit, play, eat and relax! Can't wait until next year.

the house was in great  was clean and neat but our linens were not  fact the linens didn't arrive until Monday afternoon so that was a problem for our first night...this had also happened with the linens last year when we were transferred to corolla because of storm damage at jack's...there was a problem with the deck steps with pieces coming loose but this was quickly taken care of by a repair man who came late afternoon..we love the closeness to the water...I was 5 weeks out from a knee replacement and except for the steps ,it was great to be that close to the water.we plan to be back in sept so hopefully these few things will be resolved...thanks for taking care of problems . we are in manakin  

Jack's is a wonderful unassuming gem of a beach house. It's clean, comfortable, maybe "cozy" is a better word.  Very well maintained! Extremely organized and very easy to find anything you want! Everything worked perfectly. Kitchen items looked new!  Prepare to be AMAZED when you walk out onto the spacious upper deck!  You enjoy uninterrupted views of the entire beach - North to South (great for watching the dophins, birds, planes, etc.) Plenty of deck chairs (which look new) and a Nags Head Hammock.  The mid-level deck circles around the house to the front where you will find another Hammock, double seated swing & rocking chairs.  On the oceanfront side of mid-level deck there are 2 double seated swings + a picnic table.  We enjoyed the swings A LOT!!! Returning to the house you will find a lovely appointed top level with a wet bar and 2 queen bedrooms & a large living room from which you see the ocean from sliding doors & a very large picture window that views the beach all the way to the Nags Head Pier and beyond. Mid-level interior boasts an amply supplied kitchen with large eat-in area & 2 more bedrms. Lower level is a kids dream...bunk beds galore along with 1 full. We enjoyed the Nags Head Pier Restaurant, Miller Waterfront, Outer Banks Brewing Station, Dave's Pizzeria in Kitty Hawk, and Dirty Dicks. Also, toured the Currituck Lighthouse and climbed via a large spiral staircase all the way to the top! Played golf at the Pirate ship's "Lost Paradise", I think it's called.  Best was the Wild Horse's Tour located in Corolla.  Be sure to choose the one with the HUMVEE's, they are fantastic! This is a great convenient spot for family vacations.  You are "ON" the beach with Jack's where you can build sandcastles and fly kites, along with jumping in the surf! I hear that Lucky 12 is a great restaurant also, we just didn't make it there.  Maybe next time!  would recommend this home!

Great beach house with terrific decks, views. So close to the ocean. Spacious, comfortable interior. Well equipped kitchen. I would definitely recommend Jack's to anyone!

This house is so thoughtfully furnished for everyone. Children will love the special room, for them on the first floor. Families will love all the games, puzzles, and amazing selection of books and movies. Cooks will love the very well equipped kitchen.
The home is tastefully decorated.
But the best part is that the ocean is just a few steps outside your door.

As always, Jack's is a fabulous place. We happened to be there with the Tropical Storms --- but, made the best of it.
The power was out with the management company - but, the owner contacted us to see if we were okay!

Jack's has the best of everything you could want at the beach. It is the perfect location. Closest beachfront with spectacular views. All the rooms are nice sized. Well stocked with books, games, puzzles and DVD's. Walk to Jockey's Ridge and several restaurants. Hammocks, rocking chairs, porch swings and loungers to take in all the views comfortably.
 

Jack's has one of the best locations in the Outer Banks--old Nagshead (the real beach!) and close to amenities. Nestled in foliage, mid-block. Perfect. Alway has been well kept and well-stocked. Owners seem to really care.

we love the close proximity of jack's to the beach and ocean...this is great for our youngest grandchildren.we had good weather the wk we were there and enjoyed the sun and surf...not great fishing...

Besides having the best deck on the beach, this house is fully stocked! The owners have thought of practically everything.

Cottage was very well equipped and very clean. Plenty of outside setting areas. Huge deck on the top level and the upper level living has excellent ocean views from 3 sides.

We have stayed at Jack's 7 times and are very familiar with the property and the owners' attention to detail. A plus is paying that little extra for getting the beds made. We are returning next year.

We've been vacationing at the OBX for 11 years now, and have stayed at Jack's for the last five years. We LOVE it. The location is perfect for us. Great space in the house for our growing family.

Wonderful home in a fabulous location! The deck overlooking the ocean is the best on the beach. The owners strive to make sure you have everything you need and are very open to suggestions from their guests. We've stayed in this home for 20 consecutive summers and have had a great experience every time!

We stay almost every year same week at is pefect loction and house for us at an ffordable price.

When I was searching for a place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, I found Jacks and it was absolutely perfect! I had never been able to stay in an oceanfront beach house before. You can't get any closer than Jacks. It was wonderful for an affordable romantic week at the beach. ( The house is also well stocked and furnished for family fun. ) We loved all the hammocks, swings, rockers, loungers. On our last day one of the hammock swings broke because a bolt had rusted through, otherwise I would ha
