Clean - Updates Needed

The house was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The game room, pool area & hot tub were enjoyed by all. The outside shower was nice after beach days.

The overall consensus of the group (15 of us) was that we spent a lot of money on a house that needs some updates. That said, we understand that salt-air is corrosive and in OBX the proximity to beach is really what we paid for.

Our group was disappointed with such a late checkin 5:30p when all other rentals weve stayed in got us in @12p

Family trip at outer banks

Upon checking into Funtiki we found a very clean, organized house. The temperature inside the house was perfect. There was lots of entertainment with TVs in every room, a pool table, game machine, hot tub and a pool(which was closed because of the time of year). The kitchen upstairs was huge and was accommodating with lots of utensils, pots and pans, and dishes. C gf eco in was between 4-6. It was around 5:30 before we could get in after I called them. Earlier check in would be nice. Towels and sheets were

We had a marvelous two weeks at Funtiki. My oldest daughter was married nearby and the home served as a base for family. It was enjoyed by all. My only wish was that the top deck had a screen door so that we could enjoy ocean breezes!

Perfect for a large group!

Great layout with lots of space! Awesome location! Overall, house was very clean. A few things need attention. Curtains could use a cleaning and kitchen cabinets and drawers could use some cleaning inside. One of the dishwashers wouldnt drain and kind of smelled so we couldnt use it, but the other one worked ok. We had a large group for Thanksgiving and loved the large kitchen table! Property managers were great to work with!

Nice layout and amenities. Minor repairs needed which may be done at the end of the season?

The house was great for our family, lots of room great television reception & lots of bedrooms with comfortable beds. Kids loved the pool! Could bike anywhere close to outlets!

Funtiki fun

This house is amazing. Spacious and clean. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The location was great with just a short walk to the beach. The pool and air conditioning were lifesavers with daytime temps reaching into the 90s. The only negatives were that the grill was too small for grilling for 15 occupants and the kitchen was poorly stocked with cooking utensils, silverware and serving utensils (namely large and small spoons). Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly choose this property again.

Overall good experience. Close to beach access. Kitchen pots and pans not in great condition. House overall was good but could use some tlc. Spacious for a family vacation and definitely a plus that it had a crib and high chair. Great customer service from rental company

Amazing week at Funtiki

We are a group of adults who consider ourselves a friend family who sadly don't see each other as much as we would like as we have gotten older, people have moved, children have come into our lives and we try to spend a week each year together catching up, relaxing and spending time together. This year we settled on the Funtiki and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The pool was great for afternoons when we didn't want to haul everything to the beach.
