This was our families 5th year staying in this same house. We love the house and the pool and the location. The current owners have done a lot of work to improve the house and it shows! This house is our favorite, even after we looked at other houses nearby, we still choose this house. We hope to be back in this house again next year, we just don't have a date yet.

Great house for a large group
Great house, 8 bedrooms total, 6 have private bathrooms. Everyone had privacy, yet the common areas are large and inviting. The house is a described, has been updated but we had some small issues. The gas grill was filthy and the extra tank was empty. We didnt grill because we thought it was a hazard. One of to refrigerators had a leak, it was reported but a repairman didnt show. Some bathrooms didnt drain.

Another wonderful vacation in OBX
We had another wonderful week at Carolina Dreamin'! This was our 4th year staying at this house. We love the house, the location only one block from the private beach access, close to stores, shopping and sightseeing. I go with my three daughters, their partners, and 3-4 grandchildren. We all love this house.

The house was very clean on arrival and everything in place. My family & I had a very nice time. The house was very well-equipped with needed items. We found the large kitchen table was a plus; we were all, 14 of us, to enjoy meals together as a family. And the new furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The patio furniture was also very comfortable & relaxing for drinking morning coffee or relaxing after a day at beach.

A lovely home the needs a little basic TLC.
The house was lovely but a bit basic, believe it or not. The elevator was a blessing, but there were several everday items that seemed lacking.
Tons of dishes, but only one serving spoon. No pot holders, only one trivet. 5 coffee pots, but only one small colander. A weird mix of items that lead me to believe that renters have purchased items for their stay and left it behind for the next people. I think most of the issues are lack of awareness or care by the owner.

What a time!
The house was very big. We hosted a couple parties and our guests was impressed by nour house. I love how we had so many people come over and yet it still didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The only problem was that some of the rooms cable did not work and also frigerator ice maker was very slow

Cape May Get-A-Way in the OBX!!
House was just as expected. We stayed in one of its ; sister; houses last year so we knew the floor plan and overall layout before we arrived. House was in e cellent shape and finding a fairly new gas grill was a BIG plus for us.

Nice family vacation home
Home was in good condition,could use new mattresses and some back deck repairs.Thankful for the elevator so my husband could enjoy being with all the family on the top floor. The shower in the accessible bathroom is not wheelchair accessible due to shower doors. Over all it was a great place and we were able to make it work for us.

Our wonderful OBX vacation
The house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Great location, only a block from the private beach access,and wonderful features: pool, hot tub, elevator, and two dishwashers, two refridgerators,two washer/dryer combos. We loved it!

Good house, not great
The location of the house is a mixed bag. Â It's great for being close to things, but with the drawback that there are more people on the beach and the view from the back is of a shopping center. Â It's close to many activities, which is why we decided on the Nags' Head location. The house itself was a great size and very well designed for our group of 12. Â Each couple had their own room with bathroom and all of the kids had their own rooms except for two brothers who shared a twin room. Â Almost all of the bedrooms had their own bathroom. Â The only ones that had to share were the two twins. Â There are also two powder rooms, one on the living room level and one at the bottom, which were convenient. Â The house was clean except for the hardwoowd floors on the top level, at least, which were very dirty and in need of refinishing. Â They were well vacuumed, but desperately needed damp mopping. Our feet were filthy from walking barefoot on them. There is a vacuum available, which was handy for 12 people and a dog. Â If there had been a damp mop available, that would have been great. Â I had to use paper towels to clean the kitchen floors a few times and would have damp mopped the wood floors if there had been a mop available. Â A Swiffer would be a great addition. Â The beds would benefit from a 2" memory foam topper. Â The living room couches need replacing. Â The kitchen had two refrigerators and two dishwashers, which was great. Â There were plenty of glasses, plates, utensils, etc. Â The pool and hot tub were in good order. Â

A 50th College Reunion
We chose the Cape May rental for our vacation. Â Immediately upon our arrival, we could see that the rental is very clean and tidy. The house is beautifully appointed, the living and dining areas are very spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. Â The bedrooms and bathrooms filled our needs, and the outside spaces are great areas for gathering. Â The pool and the elevator made our entire experience very comfortable and pleasant. Â As a group, we agree that this is a perfect rental for a group who may sometimes want to be all together and individuals who sometimes may need quiet time. Â We had a great vacation/reunion.
In preparing for this get-away, I had reason to call the Beach Realty office. On every occasion, the staff was responsive, informed, and gracious. Â Each employee should be proud of their customer service response. Â I couldn't ask for more from a rental organization. While we were there, I noticed some water in the HVAC closet. Â I called the number provided, spoke with the representative, and a worker was there immediately to fix the problem. Â Can't ask for more than that.

Definitely will rent again!
This house was everything we needed and more. Â Friends staying in OBX for the first time can't wait to come back. Â We had a crew for dinner and did not run out of dishes or silverware. Â Well stocked kitchen. Â Loved having 2 DW and 2 refrigerators. Â I have to take 1 star away from the rating for the spotty wifi. Â Wish list: having heat in the pool. Â We wanted to use the pool but it was a little cold this year for the first week in May. Â Also a small sofa or soft chairs in the game room. Â Thank the owners for us. Â We made some lasting memories.

The property is located in a great place conveint to many things. The house is in pretty good condition. I had a few problems with some things in the house and the owner was absolutely great! Great Family Vacation
We had 15 family members ranging in ages from 1 to 67. House served our needs perfectly. Although not on beach, the beach access across the street was short walk.
Elevator was a real plus for luggage and groceries.

Beach Realty Folks versus Hurricane Matthew
Hurricane Matthew's arrival at the Outer Banks hampered our expected arrival and cut short our vacation/wedding trip. Â Once we were able to get access to the properties, things went smoothly. Â We had rented all four houses at this location and things worked out as planned. Â In spite of the hurricane, the beach wedding in Kitty Hawk was a lovely conclusion to the week and everyone appeared to be quite pleased. Â We want to especially thank the ladies at Beach Realty for being so cooperative and keeping us advised during the delay - you all were great!!

Cape May -- A True Treasure on the OBX
This was our first time staying at Cape May. It is a beautiful well-equipped home -- one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. I chose it mainly because of all the Master Suites, elevator and distance from the beach. We had a GREAT vacation -- would definitely recommend this beautiful 8 bedroom home for a large group. We will definitely try to stay there again!

Great vacation in a beautiful house
The house was great. Plenty of room for our family of 16. The place was clean and nice as advertised. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The game room was also a big hit.

Super "Cape May"
This is our 4th year at this house and we keep coming back because it is always such a pleasure staying here. The house is beautifully furnished and has all the equipment and utensils that we need. We especially find the elevator very useful and like having a bathroom with each bedroom. It is also conveniently located near grocery stores and shops.

This was our fourth consecutive stay at this property and the one negative was the age of some of the kitchen small and large appliances. Stove really needs to be replaced. Oven did not work very well and the stovetop burners were very slow. Coffee maker also did not work very well. Otherwise we were very satisfied.

The house was great! Had plenty of space. Only thing was the beds weren't very comfortable. One of the rooms on the pool level, the bathroom didn't have a counter by the sink of a cabinet so there wasn't anywhere to put your things.

Could not have been better!!
The house was perfect. There was lots of room for everyone and the elevator was great as we had one person in a wheelchair. Loved all the balconies and the wide open views.

BEACH WEDDING WEEKEND
The Vacation Rental Experience was great! I absolutely loved the house and everything was just perfect! I will definitely be renting this place again! I had an elderly parent (84) with me due to the wedding and the elevator was just perfect. Highly recommend for wedding families!
