Description

Incredibly spacious and centrally located this home is a great choice for multi-generational vacations or a getaway with your favorite couples. There are plenty of places to read, watch tv, enjoy conversations or relax with the ocean views. Bedrooms are ensuite and spacious. An unassuming home to make memories or enjoy some solitude with your group. Fully stocked kitchen including Keurig (and traditional coffee maker), Shark blender and Kitchen-Aid mixer. The home was thoughtfully designed to provide a straight shot beach walkway with only a few up and down steps (see pictures) to the beach.

A Big Catch’s prime beachfront location provides quick access to a variety of local historic sites, shopping, dining, recreational and entertainment options. If this is your first trip to the Outer Banks, we think you’ll find this home a splendid start to your adventure!

Great Family Memories

Home was everything we could have hoped for and even more. It was a little difficult getting back from the beach for some of our older guests and there was no propane in gas grill tanks. Otherwise it was a very positive experience.

Our Happy Place

Our family has spent a couple of years at this home and it has everything you could possibly want or need. It is a perfect place to vacation. We absolutely love it and are looking forward to next summer here.

Great House with Lots of room!

we had a marvelous visit to the OBX with several couples. The house was clean and spacious and well laid out regarding bedrooms. There were 20 of us and there was still room to go hide if you needed to! I would recommend this home to any large party wanting a nice house with a good location.

We loved the house. It was spacious and clean, kitchen was stocked well. Loved the ice machine. Great location and beach was wonderful. Only problem we encountered was the stoves broil functions did not work. the ovens themselves were not super functioning.

Great week on the beach in OBX!

We had a great stay at A Big Catch! The location was perfect, so many shops and great food nearby (walking distance), Jack’s Burgers is a MUST HAVE. This home was spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was a good size, and the pool house was an added bonus as it was not featured or listed as a benefit/feature of the home. We especially loved the rooftop area over the pool house for hanging out at night. Beach area was clean. We loved the nugget that was available for the kids too, and the rollaway cots!

House met our needs

Large house and all but one bedroom had its own bathroom which worked well for us. Ice maker is a big plus. Beach access is somewhat difficult as there is a large dune to navigate. Location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We had an ac issue on the fourth floor which they did fix but had to come twice. Response to service calls was very prompt

A great vacation

This is a beautiful property. Kitchen is fully equipped, needed nothing extra. Property is close to restaurants and shopping. Easy beach access. We enjoyed fishing, shopping, and kayaking the Alligator River

A Big Catch

The house we stayed in was AMAZING! It was the perfect space for our family. The house was very clean and well maintained.

I was disappointed about a few things: (1) every time I attempted to contact property management company, I was unable to get a response. I tried via email, text, calling and nothing in response. This was disappointing because I was able to get my questions about the property answered. (2) The wifi was very spotty and did not work well. We were unable to get it to work in most areas of the house. (3) The curtains on the sliding glass doors in the bedroom were shear which limited privacy and allowed the strong morning sun to come in and wake us up.

A Big Catch was very accommodating for the number of people we had for the week. Check in was very easy. The location was great! The beach access also nice. The house was decorated really nice too!

There is more than one coffee pot at the location as it wasn’t clear in the amenities listed. The kitchen is stocked well. The pool area itself could use some
TLC. Maybe paint the fence and scrape the moss from the skirt drain. Otherwise the pool was nice as was the hot tub.
One negative was the outside kitchen/game room was under construction and nit available for use. This would have been fun for the 10 kids we had with us.

All in all this house suited us quite well.

Great Place to Stay

The house is very roomy and in a very convenient location. Close to stores, restaurants and right on the beach. There is a fairly steep dune to get down and back from the beach which might not be ideal for those having difficulty walking. Loved the separate bathrooms in each bedroom. Also liked the multiple refrigerators and dishwashers, and the ice machine was awesome.

Sun deck is amazing, lots of space in the house, great spot!
Only complaint were a couple sharp nails on the deck that need to be fixed so the kids feet didn’t get cut
