Beachcomber - C7089

The location is amazing and the home was comfortable. Broken chairs were replaced during our visit which was nice. I did have to wipe down the replacement chairs before using as they were covered in pollen and dirt from previous usage elsewhere. It took less than 30 minutes to handle. We chose not to request any services as everything was ok or easy for us to handle. The ant spray under the sink came in handy as did the first aid kit! I added back some more waterproof bandaids. We enjoyed the game room and I completed both puzzles. I prefer not to be bothered with help if not necessary but have noted some items that need attention.HIGH CUSTOMER IMPACT*The dishwasher racks are rotting badly.*The bathroom fan in the top level master is not working. There is no sound insultation between the kitchen and bathroom at all.*The great room ceiling fan is not working.*Many blinds are broken and the upper master has limited curtain coverage.*One of the 2 outdoor showers do not work.NICE TO HAVE:*Label light switches.*TV and cables setup labels or guide.*Trash cans not stored in front of grill.*A deck broom for pool area(to help maintain after its been cleaned better by service).OWNER IMPACT:*Missing siding shingles in several areas.*The owners lock on one of the kitchen cabinets is missing.*Deck nails are popping.*Some lights outside and inside are not working.*some of the trim is broken and paint is peeling.*Painting over upper master bed is off the wall and behind the bed.*The kitchen counter wall trim on the left of the sink is swelled. *The bunk bed is supported by boards in the middle from metal bending.*Wall paper in upper master bathroom is peeling.*The floor under the beds had garbage from previous tenants.*The comforters were pretty dirty. We were able to wash them, but a more regular cleaning is needed.All in all we had a great vacation and enjoyed Beachcomber for our home for the week.

Great week at a great home. This was our second year at the Beachcomber. Family cannot travel next year and tried to schedule for the 2025 Labor Day week unsuccessfully.

Love the house and location.

Our group was Three families with 2 kids each. This home was perfect for us. The rooms were perfect for each kid to have a bed, 2 kids shared a double. Ages ranged from 8-13. We were close to an ice cream store that we allowed the kids to bike to on their own. The streets were not busy, the only cars lived there and were cautious drivers. We had several rainy days but there was plenty to do inside- they played in the game room, video games and everyone loved that the hot tub was enclosed- no bugs, no w

First all family vacation!!! Was a success!! House is clean well stocked with dishes, cookware, beach items, etc. was disappointed in not having bicycles. We have booked again next year. Happy that new appliances are coming.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at Beachcomber in Whalehead. The home had a great view of the sunset from the crow's net every night and a spectacular view of the sunrise every morning at 545 from the wall of windows in the living room facing the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The beach was one block away. The 5 bedrooms were roomy and nicely furnished. Beach Realty was very responsive to our questions and concerns.
