Hammer Family September vacation

We enjoyed our stay for the 3rd year in a row and have rebooked for next year. There was more discussion this year as the price is getting very high. We love the Nags Head area and the house fits us very well. We especially like being able to bring our dogs as they enjoy the beach as much as we do.

Great house for families with young kids!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Though it is an older home, it had every amenity we needed and the layout in particular was perfect for us with 3 small families and young children (fewer stairs, a bathroom for every bedroom, and the back TV room that functioned as their play room). The pool and direct beach access across the street were huge added perks, and we noticed this area around MP16 made for far fewer crowds on the beach too. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious and the kitchen well stocked. The management company responded quickly to request for pest control, rescreening of screen porch door, and burnt out lightbulbs. The pool, hot tub, and quick walk to beach were enjoyed by all. I dont think anyone found the need to watch TV! Would recommend the horseback riding, kayaking for families with teens.
Some sharper kitchen knives would be a great addition to the kitchen.

Loved the set up of the house. It's perfect for multiple families. Loved having king sized beds in the rooms and how each bedroom had it's own bathroom! My only complaint would be that the furniture needs updating. The couches and chairs were old and not very comfortable to lounge around on after a long day on the beach.

This beach house was very spacious and affordable . so thankful for the washer and dryer!! Unfortunate it had only enough trash bag, dish soap etc for 1 days and we were staying almost a week

Great stay!

This is our second year staying here and we love the location and the amenities of the house. Easy check in and easy / quick communication with rental agency. No significant issues except for a few light bulbs that needed changing and we were missing a set of bed sheets. We will gladly book again in the future.

Fun Week at Fun ‘N Sun!

This house was great for our family! We had eight adults and two small children and everyone had their own room and bathroom. We really enjoyed the pool and pool table and large kitchen table for eating and playing games. The beach access is really close and convenient and the beach wasnt crowded. The crows nest was great for morning coffee!

Overall we were happy with the house. Unfortunately the hot tub wasnt working and although they responded quickly they were unable to repair it.

while this house does not look like much from the outside, it had all the amenities that our family could ask for. It was very clean, lots of space, and in a perfect location. Walk to the beach was very minimal and right across the street. I would definitely recommend this place!

Fun N Sun Delivered!

Stayed last week of April and got beautiful sunny weather as per name! Clean and convenient to restaurants and groceries. TV was a bit on challenge at first, but then figured out to use Hulu. Only other minor thing was no garbage disposal. Ocean too cold in April but will come back again in August. Cheers!

Great location and wonderful house

I took a vacation in mid October with 6 other friends and had a great time! The weather was permitting and the house was awesome! We had a great time and would totally book this place again. Just a few minor things with the house that I would fix but all in all, it was a good choice.

Were not change a thing with the house only thing I would do would make the access to the ocean across the street Easier walking that path to the beach wider and some steps

House was awesome and we wish we could have enjoyed it longer but our trip was disrupted by hurricane Dorian. We were only there than 42 hours because of the mandatory evacuation. We made the most of it and enjoyed what time we had. Plenty of room with everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. Loved the rec room with wet bar and full size refrigerator. Hope to rent same house again.

The beach access was great, pool larger than most, and the location was close to grocery stores, There was a bathroom for each bedroom and the linens were provided and beds were already made when we arrived:). The kitchen was well stocked and there were only two flights of stairs to climb. The pool table was a hit with the kids!

We have been vacationing in Nags Head since the late 70s. This was by far our favorite house we have ever rented. From the direct access across the street to the more ;knee friendly; public access right up the street it met our beach needs. We loved the pool, hot tub and pool table and the view of the sound from the crows nest was beautiful. The lay out of the house with bedroom suites both up and downstairs was perfect. OBX Seafood Festival Weekend

Perfect location for OBX Seafood Festival weekend! A sort walk, no shuttles or parking necessary. Great house to multiple adult couples. Hot tub temperature and location was perfect for the rainy, chilly fall weather we had one day. Checkin using the Hospitality app was easy!

The week started rough with Hurricane Maria impacting the weather but ended with beautiful weather. House was wonderful as usual with no complaints. This is our second visit to this house and is a great house for a fair price. We hope to visit the area again in the future and will certainly consider Fun 'N Sun when we are looking for a home to rent.

This was our family's 2nd time vacationing in this house, and once again it was a great time. The house itself is in good shape, plenty of bedrooms with a bathroom in every room, an added bonus. The views of the sound and the ocean from the crow's nest are amazing, and not to forget the pool and hot tub in the back. All in all, this house has everything you could ask for - the owners seem to have thought of every little need you would have while away from home. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing beach vacation.

We love the keyless entry so we can get in on arrival and all the beds being made and towels for everyone. It's nice not to have to bring these things or have to make beds. Our family's first time on OBX. Price was right and location was fabulous. Kitchen well equipped with one exception - only one frying pan for 10-12 people. Basement had musty smell. Otherwise very clean and well equipped.

Family vacation--1st time in Nags Head for many of us.

We were very pleased with the house and the many features offered. Unfortunately, I was too late in requesting an early check-in and will know to do so in the future. We very much enjoyed the pool and game room each day. After spending time on the beach we came back to the house to swim and get dinner started. The number of bedrooms/bathrooms was ideal for our group. We liked the location--not crowded. I called on Monday morning with some issues and the owner came quickly to resolve the two most important. We didn't go out much but two of our group went to Millers for lunch and a few of us went to the Dunes for Dinner and breakfast. I would recommend both. We were able to sit down and eat our meals together.

A great stay!

A great location, a lovely home, direct access to the beach, and seven days of enjoyment, describes our vacation here. A Sunday check-in (express check-in) is much better than Saturday with less traffic and hassle of getting into the area and into the house. The house was well equipped, nicely appointed, and laid out nicely. The pool was a nice size and a welcome reprieve after a chilly ocean. The only rainy day proved the pool table could use refurbishing but other than that, there was plenty to occupy both kids and adults. The beach was close and inviting, some of us even swam very close to dolphins chasing a school of fish and watching the Pelicans fishing was very entertaining.

History Group Trip to See Lighthouses

We had four couples for a long weekend in October, and found the house to be an excellent choice. We all had our rooms with private bath. A must for us.
The spaces worked well for our group. The house is remarkably well insulated between rooms for noise. There is some traffic sound, amd outdoor noises do penetrate, but the inside is really nice.
We single handedly defeated hurricane Joaquin, had a beautiful sunny Saturday, and enjoyed our stay.

Overall a wonderful family vacation! We couldn't have asked for much more. Enjoyable space, views, location, pool, etc. Better functioning gates would have been helpful as well as if there is any way to get those spikey things out of the out edges of the fence where we walked the dogs. This was our first vacation as a family with parents, children, and grandchildren. This was the perfect house and location for our vacation. The house had everything we could ask for. The beach access was directly across the street. We enjoyed the beach during the day and the pool, hot tub, and pool table at night. The Best Vacation Home Ever

Our stay at this house was perfect - the house itself was clean and accomodating, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The private pool was amazing, and it had every amenity you could think of for a week at the beach. Last but not least - directly across the street from the beach access.
We loved staying here and hope to return again next summer!
