The bright and spacious great room has beautiful white oak floors, coastal high-end furnishings, a gas fireplace and large windows with mesmerizing ocean views. The kitchen has gorgeous granite countertops, stylish cabinets, new appliances and a bonus deck through sliding glass doors, perfect for enjoying sunsets and star-gazing. Enjoy ocean views, salty air and sea breezes from the oceanside sun deck and from the spacious screened porch with vaulted ceiling and gas fireplace extend the days in this well-designed and well-appointed space. The five bedrooms, including 2 masters, and four full bathrooms are handsomely decorated and offer comfort and privacy. The first level cozy den is a relaxing quiet space and offers a wet bar, ice maker, and beverage refrigerator. On the ground level there is another refrigerator. Covered parking is available on concrete under the house as well as the concrete driveway and carpark.

Sanderling is a nature conscious community by the sea. Located in a bird sanctuary, 'Shore Enough' provides a perfect spot for viewing wildlife. While sitting out on the deck or screened porch, you may be lucky enough to see herons, osprey, deer etc. The home has wonderful, easily accessed walkways, as well as a paved bike path that leads straight to the heart of Duck Village. The quaint village has charming shops, outstanding restaurants and a soundside boardwalk that wanders throughout the town. Located within walking distance of the sound and businesses that provide bike, kayak and SUP rentals. Additionally, this home is just a short distance from the Sanderling Community Health and Racquet Club, where guests can enjoy, free of charge, use of the beautiful sound front pool, lounge chairs and kiddie pool. Also available, for a fee, is use of the Sanderling Community tennis courts.

Easy walk or bike ride to enjoy the amenities of the Sanderling Resort, including restaurants and spa. Or just enjoy the natural beauty and wonderment of a walk on the beach or along the extensive Sanderling walking trails, nestling among the arched live oak trees amid the maritime forest.

We had a perfect week at the beach staying at Shore Enough. Great location on a wide, uncrowded part of the beach. The house was attractively furnished, in great shape and very clean. We were glad the grand-dog could come, but I’m allergic to dogs and worried the house would be “doggy.” I never saw a single dog hair nor caught a whiff of smell anywhere in the house and didn’t even have to take an antihistamine! The kitchen was modern and possibly better equipped than my own, with quality pots and pans. AC worked great. Owners have done a nice job and management was responsive. Nice to have the linens already on beds, bars of soap, etc. Thank you.

Great place for a beach vacation

This is a great house for a 3-generation beach vacation. The beach access is right across the street and most day there wasn't anyone within 30 yards from us on the beach. It's a bit of a drive to restaurants with the traffic in the evenings but if you plan for it, it's fine. This was out 2nd year at this property

Great Vacation!

Shore Enough was the perfect house for us! We had six adults and two children. The living spaces were furnished nicely. The screened porch was a wonderful space to relax and for the three year old to play. The spacious backyard gave us more play space also.

Nice house, great location. Extremely comfortable especially liked the screened porch . Kitchen a bit cramped . Description says 3 king but only 2 rooms had king beds . Room listed as king in third floor was a queen. We originally selected this house because it stated there were 3 king bedrooms.

Amazing house and location

Shore Enough was a perfect rental for our week stay in Duck. The location was perfect with direct access to the beach and the house had everything we were looking for: good sized bedrooms (with comfortable beds + TVs in most), a lot of full baths, a spacious living area where you didn’t feel on top of one another, fully functional kitchen, decks and a yard for our dogs. The house was clean, had all the amenities you’d need and location was great for driving to restaurants or walking in the neighborhood. Check in and communication were also great/made it seamless.

Screened porch makes the house

Our family have stayed in Sanderling for more than 25 years. We've had our eye on Shore Enough, and it finally became dog friendly. We gathered from North Carolina, San Francisco, and London. The house was lovely--we especially loved the screened porch. Ice maker a real plus. We do heavy duty gourmet cooking, and missed sharp knives, no kitchen shears, platters, counter space. I usually bring knives with me; did not this year. It took us forever to figure out how to lower the Nest temp below 76 degrees and stay that way. Induction range is meh, not great, not terrible--but there is zero exhaust fan--we really missed that. Refrigerator door is hard to close well--pops open if you are not diligent. Chairs and umbrella were not usable, but that is par for the course. We rented those. But these are minor quibbles--we had a blast and really enjoyed the space.
