Spacious great room with plentiful windows provides a fantastic vantage point of the changing tides and crashing waves! Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the majestic Outer Banks sunrise. Furnished open and covered decks provide plenty outdoor entertaining or relaxation options. Your teenagers or young adults will enjoy their private space in the lower level teen room, with 3 twin beds and full bath. And don't forget your four legged friends - this cottage allows dogs.

Additional amenities include high speed internet access, access to Community Tennis. Flat Screen TVs, separate teen bedroom, beach chairs, bicycles, picnic table, 150 feet to the beach.

This is a great house for being right at the ocean. The price is amazing, especially out of season. We would return to The Coast is Clear again.

The location is perfect and the layout was great. The beds were very comfortable, but the family room furniture has seen better days. We talked about renting it again next year. The owner's may want to think about a privacy gate where the home actually provides direct access to the beach board walk. This is because we encountered people using the home's hose to rise off.

Beach parade!

We loved this house! It was roomy and well stocked. Some reviews had mentioned noise from the public beach access walkway, but we enjoyed watching the parade of beach goers from our deck! Traffic was heavy, but that's what you get during summer visits.

Woof Pack Gets Fun In The Sun

This house is perfect for folks vacationing with dogs. There is plenty of deck space for you and your woofies to relax, listen to the waves, catch some rsys and bark at folks going back and forth to the beach. Our dogs love this house. Great value for the location.

This house is perfect for us. We keep coming back.

What a great week at the beach. We spent the week chilling on deck with our dogs. The location of this house is perfect.

A memorable family vacation

This was definitely a great place and great location that has given us lots of great memories. The big plus is that it is dog friendly so we could bring our dog with us. On a side note, the dog now seems to be suffering from depression since the vacation is over.

The house is situated on one of the main boardwalks to beach, it gets a bit noisy in the morning as families drop off their beach gear.

Tough to call, rained all week which made it tough to truly evaluate. House was decent, basement bedroom which was not accessible from main house was kind of weird.
Manager Response: That bedroom on the lower level that is not accessible from the main house is called a teenager room. It's for (trustworthy) teens to have their own space away from mom and dad, or for a couple who wants some additional privacy. Hope you can come back when the weather is nicer!

Lovely spot to rest

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room, great access to the beach, and a fantastic open floor plan. It was great to be able to get away with our dogs for the weekend as well. I'd suggest bringing a pillow as these were rather flat. The beds could stand to be upgraded and the deck is showing signs of wear & could use some attention. All told, we felt it was a great value overall & would stay here again.

Coast is Clear Review

Not bad- place needs some work. Lights over the dinning room table leaked during a rain storm. Deck is splintery and has lots of nail pops. Major issue was lack of handicap access to the beach. Had to drive 1/2 mile down the road to get my wife's wheelchair to the beach.
Next time I would get a place with a pool.

Overall, our experience was very nice at the Coast is Clear. Wonderful views of the water, short walk to the beach, kid & pet friendly, linens & towels provided and a great beach to hang out on.

The house was stocked with all of the kitchen utensils that we needed and was spacious enough for three families (one with toddlers).
