TOWN OF DUCK ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY PARADE

Location: The parade begins at the crest of the hill on Scarborough Lane.
Parade Route: The one-mile route travels east on Scarborough Lane toward the ocean, turns left onto Ocean Way, and continues onto Christopher Drive to end at Pamela Court.

Note: The parade does not take place on Duck Road (NC Highway 12), allowing for a safer, more leisurely experience.

Immediately following the parade, head over to Duck Town Park (1200 Duck Road) for the post-parade party, which typically includes:

• Live Music: Often featuring a regional Dixieland Band.
• Refreshments: Free watermelon (traditionally provided by Green Acres Farm Market) and cold drinks.
• Awards Ceremony: The awarding of parade trophies for categories like the Mayor’s Award and Best Community Entry.
