Description

Located right on the ocean, Fins boasts a private, raised walkway to a private dune/sun deck, as well as instant access to the beach. There’s a panoramic view of the ocean from the main level, loft, and decks and it’s never been easier to enjoy a sunrise over the surf while sipping your morning coffee.

The ground level features plenty of parking, a garage for storage of outdoor items during your stay, and even a 2-man kayak for your water adventures. In addition to the washer, dryer, and dishwasher, this house features 2 refrigerators so you’ll have plenty of room for food and extras. The covered deck has a picnic table and lounge chairs for outdoor relaxation, as well as plenty of room for sunbathing or cornhole (cornhole set provided). This home is located just a very short distance from the heart of Duck, with its amazing restaurants and shopping.

Perfect location.

We have stayed at Fins for several years now. We love the location access to the beach is perfect and the Duck boardwalk and restaurants are an easy walk. We love the house.

Fins and Sunrises

This is our second year staying at Fins. Everyone in the family loves the house and the location. We've stayed at other properties around the banks and seem to have all taken to this one. Too many positives to cover with 2000 characters. The only negative to this week was the storm that rolled in on Tuesday. Great house for a family vacation and amazing location - on the beach and easy walk to the Duck boardwalk.

Nice home but a bit dated

Overall we had a great stay. The house has all the amenities one would need. Especially the foot-rinse upstairs and the outside shower were a fantastic addition. Plenty of beach chairs and toys in the garage to borrow as well. The kitchen is also very well equipped. My 2 main complaints are that 1)everything is dated. The porch chairs may as well not have cushions at all, they are so worn and thin. The mattress in the king is also very worn. And having carpet at the main entrance door, generally is gross, l

Great Location in Duck right on the Beach

Great location right on the beach in Duck. Nice privacy as this is the last house on the street. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in Duck. House is older but in good condition and modern amenities and appliances. Everything matched the pictures and descriptions. We did have a slight issue with the initial cleaning/linen/towel service upon arrival but Beach Realty had the property serviced within 30 minutes of the call.

Beautiful view and perfect location

We LOVED our stay at Fins!!! It is literally steps to the beach. We especially enjoyed the reading loft with its amazing views. The outdoor shower and laundry downstairs were great for keeping sand out of the house. We would definitely stay at Fins again.

On the negative side, We did arrive to the house with all the beds unmade and the place had not been cleaned. I immediately called Lisa with the management company. She had cleaners there in 20 minutes! It was clean in a few hours while we

The house is in a perfect location - an easy walk to the main part of Duck. The sun rises are beautiful on the dune deck. Overall, if you are just looking for simple accommodations with an excellent location and very easy beach access. We did not need a big house nor a game room. This was the perfect house for just relaxing and enjoying the ocean.

Our family Loved our OBX vacation!

This was a very nice rental and loved the Duck location. This was such a beautiful place to enjoy sunrises and walks on the beach.

July 2019 OBX Vacation

This was our 2nd stay at Fins. House is great layout for families with kids having 2 large rooms and their own bathroom on ground level, adults 2 bedrooms on main level. House is clean, well maintained, deck could use some repair. Close to many shops, restaurants & convenience stores. The only thing that would make this house perfect is if it was dog friendly!

End of summer now bring on the fall!,,

I went with my wife's family for our first group vacation. None of us had ever been before, and the house and location was better then expected. A short walk over the dunes was all it took to get to the ocean. My young daughter fell in love with the warm waters (September), and was not a fan when the day was over. The weather was a bit over cast and windy, making the waters rough, which was to be expected. However, the temps were still in the 80's and it didn't stop my little one and me playing in the sa
