The off-season is a great time to think about upgrading and replacing things in your vacation home. There are less people vacationing here, and vendors and our service technicians are ready and available to help you complete any projects you might have planned. The vacation industry is always growing and evolving, so we have broken down some top trends for 2019 to show you what guests are looking for in a vacation home.

#1: Keyless Entry

Nothing adds more convenience to a vacation rental than keyless entry. Guests really don’t want to come to the check-in office. They want to start and end their vacation at your door. If you do not already have keyless entry for 2019, now is the perfect time to make the switch. If you're interested in adding it to your home, please contact our Service Director, Christine Sawyer, below.

#2: Outdoor furniture

Spend some money here and buy nice outdoor furniture that will stand the test of time. You’ll probably end up spending a lot less in the long run. Make sure you have an outdoor seat for everyone. Some great choices are adirondak chairs, pool lounge chairs, benches, porch swings, or even a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

#3: Mattresses & Bedding

Everyone deserves a good night’s sleep on vacation!  Mattresses are super affordable and easy to order these days. If it’s been more than a few years, you should definitely consider replacing your mattresses. Go ahead and order new pillows and bedspreads while you’re at it.

#4: Flooring and rugs

If your carpeting has a little too much wear then you are probably considering your options to replace. Replacing carpeting with luxury vinyl planks or hardwood dramatically improves the appearance of your interiors. It also makes it easier to keep clean. We suggest using exciting area rugs to some color and comfort to the room.
