Simply the BEST!

This was our 2nd year at Sea Eagle and it's the best location! The house is very beautiful inside and tastefully furnished, and spotless! All you need to bring is your bathing suit,sunscreen and flip flops! Hurricane Idalia was beautiful to watch from the house when we had to stay indoors.

Sea Eagle July 2023

We had a wonderful time and a great experience at Sea Eagle. Ocean views are spectacular! Kitchen is well stocked. Home well stocked with puzzles, board games, TVs and a hot tub. Furniture in good shape - lots of space in the upper level/deck and lower level for family enjoyment.

As stated in other posts, parking can be tricky. The picture is a bit misleading as the lighter concrete is another driveway to a home on the beach. There is currently a dune that prevented anyone staying in there to pull forward to their entryway, so they were parked adjacent to Sea Eagle's driveway. We had four vehicles, only three would fit in Sea Eagle's driveway. The garage is full of bikes, a ping pong table, beach chairs, we were able to move stuff so an SUV could be pulled into the garage - it stayed there for the duration of our vacay.

Our only other issue was with the A/C. We waited a little too long to notify maintenance and spent a few nights with 80 degree temps in the upper level (lower levels were fine). HVAC tech said no freon, may have a leak. Freon was pumped into unit and we were fine the rest of our stay. ***If you have this issue - contact maintenance immediately, and be adamant that it needs to be taken care of ASAP.

I would highly recommend Sea Eagle to anyone who doesn't have issues with lots of steps in home and dunes that make it tough to get to/from the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Eagle!

Beautiful House

This house is well maintained and updated. The living room furniture is very comfortable and feels new. The kitchen is fully stocked. Bikes and beach gear are provided and are in good condition. Like previous reviews stated, the parking is tight, but doable. We had two SUVs and parked in tandem, parallel to the house. Our cars (Lexus GX and VW Atlas) were too long and stuck out into the driveway of the end house when parked in the driveway spots. Smaller SUVs and cars would fit in one side of the garage. The mattress in the top level king rooms needs to be replaced but the rest of the mattresses were okay. We would, without question, stay here again.

RIGHT on the beach!

We were amazed at how clean the house was since it is one dune off the beach. It was a great layout with a nice top floor living area, kitchen, dining table and wonderful sun porch with lots of chairs and side tables. Our dog Juno was safe as the house has a baby gate and a permanent screen to block the stairs. We enjoyed our October getaway!

Perfect Pet-Friendly Oceanfront Rental in South Nags Head

The property with absolutely perfect for our large family and dog. The game room was a favorite spot for the kids and the deck had breathtaking views for the adults. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked to the hilt! The only complaint that we had were the shower curtains. Two didn't have a plastic liner and the fabric was wet and covered in black mold. The American flag hanging on the deck was severly tattered and desperately needs to be replaced. Other than these minor things, our stay was perfect!

Sea Eagle, South Nagshead vacation

This home was so comfortable and clean. Have to say I loved the battery operated Dyson for quick cleanups. The beach was beautiful with a great sandbar right in front of the house. Perfect for small kids. Parking was a little difficult. Garage was very small and we had to move the ping pong table and bikes to fit one vehicle. Also only two could park along the side of the house and we had to back out of the street to the main road. Not enough to spoil an amazing vacation. Thankyou to the owners for sharing their home!

Great vacation in early May

The house lived up to our expectations and I am so appreciative of the owners for making it pet friendly as we never leave our pups at home. The house was very clean and lots of room. The views are fantastic! Easy access to the beach. The baby/pet gate in the house and on the deck were a huge bonus in keeping our two dogs contained. Loved that linens were provided. Kitchen was well stocked - one of the best that we have stayed in. Plenty of books to read and games to play. Communication from Beach Realty was great. Loved the keyless entry as it saved so much time checking in and out. We saw some comments on the parking and were slightly concerned, but we had 3 SUV's and it worked out fine. Our family had an awesome time. We will definitely be back.

September by the sea at OBX 2021

We had a great stay. The house worked out fine for 6 adults and 1 dog. Somehow we came home with 4 tea towels. I thought they belonged to our in-laws,who departed before us. Do I need to return them?

Family Vacation

The property lives up to the description and pictures posted. Very spacious with plenty of space for everyone to be together and not be on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable. I think the house was clean, bathrooms obviously cleaned before our visit. The only criticism I would address seriously is the outside shower. First there are plants that are coming under the shower from the outside that need to be cut back and most importantly the walls of the shower should be taller because if someone is having a shower people coming down the stairs of the outside deck have an unobstructed view!��
As mentioned in previous comments the dune you need to walk over to get onto the beach is a little challenging. All in all I have to say this was a wonderful house with great views of the ocean. I would definitely rent it again and I’ve already recommended it to friends who are thinking of an Outer Banks vacation.

End of Summer Getaway

House was perfect for my family including my pet. Quick walk over the dune to the beach and we had the perfect beach weather. Made use of the bikes located in the garage and many other beach toys for use. Will be making a reservation for the future to this house. I have seen reviews about the parking I had an expedition, small suv and utility trailer with some movements made it work. Excellent overall experience with the location and Beach Realty Staff.

Thanksgiving Retreat!

We had a very relaxing, socially distancing, Thanksgiving at Sea Eagle. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. We made a great meal. The house is clean and has everything you need for a great vacation!

Great Family Vacation

We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks since our children were little. This was our first vacation as a family having 2 of our children newly married. We loved the house and it's location. The house is laid out to provide a space for everyone to be together (we loved the table for family dinners and game time) but also with enough space for privacy. Parking can be a problem but we were able to put 2 small cars in the garage. We enjoyed the bikes and also used the boogie board and umbrella holders in the garage.house was surface clean and ready for us to enjoy but could use a thorough cleaning. We had an issue with the AC unit but someone was there to fix it within the hour. We would definitely rent again in the future.

The Sea eagle Was a Winner

When we arrived, we were a little hesitant because of parking but it turned out to be ok. The house is very nicely furnished and equipped with all the extras you should need. The floor plan was great.

A pleasant surprise

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The rooms are huge, very comfortable home. I had 7 people in my party and everyone had plenty of room to breathe, probably could fit up to 10 comfortably. The only downside is the parking, it has 2 garage spaces but unless you have a Prius, it’s worthless. The alley is pretty narrow, if all the places on the alley are full and your party has multiple vehicles, it could be a nightmare. Views and access to beach are second to none

It was the perfect size for my family and gave us plenty of bathroom space too! We also really appreciated having the owner provide us with bikes, umbrellas, chairs, a small grill and the linens. All of those extras allowed us to travel lighter and relax when packing. Loved the whole experience. My only suggestion is to provide steps down to the beach for guests who have difficulty maneuvering the sand dune. That was difficult for us with grand babies and the old people.

Fairly good location, easy beach access. We liked the house overall and rated it fairly well but has some minor issues that stopped me from rating it a 5 star property. House in front and to the right of the beach, obstructs beach view slightly and intrudes on upper deck privacy. Some maintenance is needed. Window blind on top deck side was missing along with the slider blinds on the patio door missing slats (needs replaced). Parking for 3 is about the maximum and is tight. Maybe able to pull a small vehicle in the garage. Ping pong table is in pieces in the garage and should be removed from the Entertainment Amenities or replaced/fixed. Master BR has loud noise from the screens when wind blows from the North. Mattress in Master BR needs replaced, sagging on both sides from use. Deck needs a little help, Right angle rusted out brackets, pertruding nail heads. A few loose stair boards and an exposed sharp nail on the 2nd floor stair deck side needs attention. Nothing wrong that made us call in for emergency maintenance. Needs some off season TLC.

We Want to Keep this Place a Secret

We have been coming to the Outer Banks since the 1970's and have stayed from Carova to Hatteras. This year's experience with Beach Realty was excellent.
