Great location

Great location, convenient to lots of restaurants and shopping. Short walk to the beach and nice beach access. House was clean and comfortable. Street out front was busy with walkers and bikers but not much car traffic. Except for one loud drunk at the pool at the hotel across the street, there were no issues with noise esp with a large hotel in front of the home. No ocean view from the porches.

For the money, this is an excellent rental.

nice house but too warm for comfort

house was nice but unexpectedly found when getting there we were not permitted to turn the air conditioning below 72°F. having to bring toilet paper sucks too. place was roomy and clean

Family Beach Vacation

The property was exactly as advertised. Very clean, plenty of parking, and it was just a three minute walk to the beach. Any questions we texted to Beach Realty were answered in about an hour. Tiffani and Ashley were great. Also close to restaurants and other attractions. Would definitely recommend and rebook in the future.

2022 Memorial week at Ocean View's

Enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful weather all week. The nearby beach was not crowded. I would recommend this cottage because of its central location and access to most everything. Need to add a regular cable box to the TV in the pool room so you can watch sporting events down there.

Great getaway weekend

The house met our expectations and was a terrific place for our weekend getaway. However, we asked to check in early and were told no. We were warned to not go to the house before 4pm because the cleaners had to get there and if a car was in the driveway, they would not clean. But the house was definitely not cleaned that day when at 4pm we did go in. It had not been opened or cleaned because it was stuffy and was not fresh. This would not have been a problem except that we had been told it would be cleaned and that was why we could not check-in early. Also, there was almost no TP in the house and we were led to believe that someone would bring some, which did not happen. These are basic service items of the property manager, not any problem with the house itself. Great place.

Nice House Close to Beach

This house was in great shape with lots of room to spread out for the teens and play for the little kids. Bedrooms were large with plenty of room and moderately comfortable beds. Kitchen was well stocked. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk down a side street. The only downside to this location was it was directly across the street from a hotel. Weekend nights there was loud music coming from the hotel pool and lights were on all night every night. You cannot see the ocean from the house at all or see the stars at night due to the bright lights. It was definitely a great location in the Outer Banks with easy access to all the things you may want to do. Overall a nice house; we just wished it had not been across the street from a hotel.

Oceans View in KDH is a perfect location for access to all areas of the OBX. The house fits our size family and indeed has an ocean view, rare for Memorial Ave. The cleaning was very good this year and I appreciated the toilet paper, soaps and other cleaning supplies provided. The house could use some upgrades. The mattress in the front bedroom should be replaced. The floor upstairs was cleaner than previously but still doesn’t clean up well due to the scratches from the heavy chairs. The high top table is difficult for a family with children. Please get the owners to replace or reupholster the chair in the living—it is a dingy gray instead of white or cream. Overall we enjoy staying at Oceans View. The access to the beach is easy and sitting on the front porch people watching is fun or taking in a beautiful sunset from the back porch is delightful.

Amazing house + location !

We had such an incredible stay at oceans view ! We bravely traveled as 3 families with 6 adults and 4 children under 5. The house had the perfect amount of space and bedrooms & bathrooms to make our week stay go off without a hitch. It came with a beach wagon to carry our chairs and toys which was huge. The proximity to the beach, dining, the grocery store and shops was unbeatable. We arrived early and the office worked with us to not leave us waiting for check-in beyond necessary. The house was clean, up to date and had all the information we needed laid out for us. The texting option with the office came in handy as well. We are looking forward to our return !

Great last minute, pet friendly trip

The house was clean, the kitchen was nicely stocked and the location was just a short, quick walk to the beach. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table was fun for all during the three days of rain! Would definitely stay here again. The only feedback I would provide is that the mattress on the top floor was overly broken-in. Also, the rental company was very responsive and friendly!

Great Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family of 9 and 2 dogs. We have never rented a house with a rec room before but thoroughly enjoyed the pool table as our hang out spot in the evenings. It was just a short walk to the beach and the road in front of the house was very quiet with not a lot of traffic. The only negative parts to our stay was the house was not cleaned properly before us coming in. The floors looked like they have not been cleaned for a long time and still had crumbs/dirt all over them. The other downfall is that this house is located behind a hotel so your front balcony views are looking at a building and parking lot. All in all this is a great house and we loved our stay!

Ocean’s View Kill Devils Hill NC

This was my first time renting a vacation rental. The rental was even better than the photos depicted. We were less than 5 blocks to the beach with direct access without being on the beach or main road. It was convenient to everything. We were 5 adults and 2 dogs and everyone had plenty of space and privacy. My husband loved using the pool table which was a great treat for him. I couldn’t have asked for a better rental. Beach Realty was recommended to me and I am glad I listened. The rental and the rental were exceptional,

Great week! The house was clean and comfortable, close to the beach. Nice to have two master bedrooms each with it's own bath. The game room was an added bonus. The only negative was the coffee pot (in need of a new one) and the TV picture froze in the main room. Would definitely rent again!

An Awesome Week!

While it was a cold week (with snow on the 2nd full day), we had the best time. The home itself was perfect. Even though we didn't use the 2nd floor (sans the washer/dryer), it felt as though we were staying in a quaint ski lodge and a castle at the same time! The staff was great in providing restaurant recommendations and day activities. All of the food was yummy! We had a great time. Thank you!

Fantastic

This was our first time renting out an entire house for vacation. The house was amazing (just as it was shown online) my family loved it. The pool table and the hot tub got used very much during the in between times of going to the beach and visiting lighthouses and other area attractions. Our dog I believed loved it was well (It took him a minute to get used to the sand). We will be back !!
