Description

Mullen Sandpiper is located in Nags Head at milepost 10.5 close to Jockey's Ridge State Park, Jennette's Pier,
Nags Head Woods Preserve, Nags Head Dog Park plus great shops and restaurants.

5 TVs all with cable access, a small refrigerator in the lower level, Great room with large flat screen TV and sectional sofa, powder room, access to the furnished sun deck, the dining area with table seats 8, the fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, breakfast bar with 4 bar stools, master bedroom on the upper level has a whirlpool tub , shower and double vanity. On the mid level is a den with TV, queen master bedroom, bedroom with double and bunk set, bedroom with queen and a full hall bath. The washer and dryer are on the lower level. Outside is the 10x20 private pool with pool furniture, park-style grill, outdoor shower, fish cleaning table and covered parking.

Perfect week away

My family of 5 enjoyed our week here. The house was very roomy. My two teens and one preteen had plenty of room of their own. There are food, drink, beach, and activities close by for everyone. It was still a little chilly when we were there and the pool/beach swimming were not options. The TV channels available fit everyone, the decks made great places to sit and talk and listen to the water crashing. Our favorite rental ever by far!

Family 2022 Vacation

We were very pleased with the home. The home was clean when we arrived and the beds were made. We loved the top deck and spent a great deal of time outside. The pool was much smaller than I thought it would be but the Grandchildren enjoyed. The pool area definitely needed some attention. There were weeds around the pool.

Mullen Sandpiper Stay - June 26th to July 10th

Good vacation home to stay in. Only issue was the 2nd floor bedroom (one with a bath) had a queen bed mattress that was "hard as a rock", and very uncomfortable. Definitely needs a better mattress. Other than that property was good.

Plenty of room for eight adults, close to everything you may need, paid extra for the linen service, and worth every penny after driving 11 hours the last thing I wanted to do was make up beds. I was a little surprised that there were not “extras” in the house such as aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt, pepper, garbage bags, extra paper towels... other houses we have stayed in always had these and when we left we always left our “extras” for the next visitors.

Wonderful Beach Home

My family had a wonderful time at the Sandpiper. Everything was very clean and it was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Our four year old twin girls loved the pool and we were excited there was sand and pool toys already there available for us to use. The only problem we experienced was we had paid the linen fee and we arrived after hours and there were no towels or sheets available for us. They did drop them off the next day, so it was a minor inconvenience. We highly recommend this house and look forward to staying here again!

Great location and experience

This house provided exactly what we needed for two families with 5 kids under 5 years old. An easy walk across the street to the beach and a pool out back to relax by and keep the kids entertained. The rental company was incredibly helpful and polite when we required assistance. Paid for early check in and everything was ready as promised.

Best Vacation Ever

Best vacation ever!! This was my son's first trip to the beach since his return from the military. The house was perfect for all of us, the kids enjoyed the pool and we all loved the beach. The property was super close to the beach, making walks with the kids fun. Highly recommend.

Best Trip Ever

House was perfect. We had 6 adults and 3 kids. Kids loved their own room. House was well equipped. Even had boogie boards and sand toys! Excellent location. We rode our bikes to the park, grocery store and ice cream shop. We enjoyed every moment. Pool was so much fun for kids. Back yard was great to. We threw baseball and had tons of room. That never happens at the beach!
