Located at mile post 1, the Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier is owned by the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk. The Kitty Hawk Fishing Pier separates the towns of Kitty Hawk and Southern Shores. The Kitty Hawk was closed in 2003 after being devastated by Hurricane Isabel. A few years later it was purchased by the Hilton Garden Inn, remodeled and open to the public in 2008!
