The 4th of July is usually a record-breaking week for the Outer Banks. This year the 4th falls on a Saturday, which is why some of our homes have been offering a 4th of July Two Week Deal so you don't have to check in on the holiday! Also, due to the damage to the Avalon Pier, they are unsure if they will be able to host a fireworks display this year. With these things considered, traffic may be unusually high this year. Corolla Vacation Rentals Near Whalehead Club
The Corolla fireworks display is at Whalehead Club this year. Festivities start at noon including a watermelon eating contest, cornhole tournament, games, live music, and more. The event is free but parking will be limited!

Nags Head Vacation Rentals Near Nags Head Fishing Pier
In Nags Head, the Nags Head Fishing Pier at mile post 11.5 will be hosting a fireworks display from 9:30 to 10:00 pm on the 4th.
