This property has excellent beach access, nice pool, and good location generally for the Outer Banks. It’s comfortably furnished with plenty of space. The outside balcony provides great views and more space to spread out. Great choice for a beach week!

Awesome accommodations

We had never vacationed at the southern end of the beach, but this will be our go to destination. I have never stayed in a condo that is as well outfitted/stocked as Lyttle. The kitchen had everything that I would ever need. The beds and furniture were comfortable and clean. The porch furniture was also comfortable and clean. Can't recommend Lyttle enough. The pool was not open as our stay was in early May, but work was being done to uncover and clean it for the season.

We loved our stay at the condo. We will definitely be returning. The only thing I could say is that in the master suite the step up to the tub was hazardous for my parents. They tripped on it several times.

This property is well-maintained, comfortable, with plenty of room both inside and on the extensive deck. Straight down the steps and you’re at the pool, over some further steps and you’re on the beach.
Convenient to Manteo, Bodie Island lighthouse, and good restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location- Awesome View

First time at OBX for husband and I had not been there since 1978. We wanted to explore the whole area so we chose this place due to its central location. The place was roomy and well stocked. For the most part the place was clean with exceptions of a few things we pointed out to housekeeping. We used the linen service. So beds were mad with clean sheets and we had two full sets of towels for each bedroom. The dish towels for kitchen were not great with linen service. There were 4 towels, but no dish cloths. Luckily I had brought a scotch bright sponge/scrubber with me. The dish towels were not absorbent so it took forever to try to dry dishes with them. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of gadgets, cookware and dishes. It even had a large electric griddle. There was an awesome breeze through the condo if you opened slider in master bedroom and slider in living room. The master bathroom had a super walk-in shower and even a large soaking tub. Having washer & dryer was very convenient. There were two drying racks in master closet if you need to air dry articles of clothing. Overall it is a great place for the money.

We LOVED the new kitchen. So bright and gorgeous. We always enjoy our stay. The property is beautiful with unparalleled views of the ocean.

We had a couple of housekeeping issues. We had guests to stay for a couple of days. When our guests left we inspected the guest bathroom and discovered the shower curtain liner was black with mold. How embarrassing. Our guests did not report this to us. There was also black mildew in parts of the grout in the master shower. The area rugs needed more careful vacuuming as there were giant dust bunnies with hair and rug threads on the edges of some of the rugs. Furniture surfaces (dresser in master bedroom and bed headboard) were very dusty. Last our guests did report that they were too warm in their bedroom. We discovered that a piece of cardboard had been taped to the overhead vent. We removed the cardboard and placed it on the dryer.

Nice, clean unit with beautiful views

Clean, accessible property with great views. Pool was a little smaller than it appears in the pictures, but met our needs. Beds were very comfortable, which is not always a given in such properties! They got new pans so cooking eggs is much easier than previous reviewers indicated. :) The only confusion we had was understanding exactly which entrance to access the unit. You want access point B, which is the first one on the left when you come in from the street.

Great vacation!

Lyttle has excellent views; the beautiful unit with recently remodeled kitchen is clean, well-furnished, and well-equipped. The complex has an elevator, which makes getting luggage to the third floor easy, and is ideally located within easy walking distance of Jeanette's Pier, excellent restaurants (Sam & Omie's and Owens' are our favorites!) and Cahoon's Market. I highly recommend it!

We stayed in this rental 3 years ago. Easy access to the beach and pool. Loved the upgrades ( new kitchen, bathrooms ) keyless entry was great, no need to go to the rental office.. they text you your door code when the property is ready. Only complaints, 1. the railing blocks your ocean view sitting at the outdoor table and chairs. A set of the tall table and chairs would be a nice upgrade. 2. Bring your own frying pans, frying pans are trashed.3. Ice maker would have been great but there were plenty of ice trays.

Stayed at Lyttle for the 3 rd year. Location is perfect - close to restaurants ,shopping grocery stores. Large deck is wonderful to relax and watch ocean and dolphins play. The upgrades are beautiful. The new flooring throughout , bathrooms both remodeled and the keyless entry. All greatly appreciated We have great weather and thoroughly enjoyed our week XS

Location is perfect. View from deck is awesome ( captain chairs would be perfect so the railing would not obstruct) Condo was clean and comfortable. The carpeting is worn , wrinkled and frayed in places but overall furniture is comfortable. One request would be for keyless entry . We had to drive 30 miles out of our way to return keys to realty for evacuation

Great Place!

Sometimes you just never know what you may get when booking a place to stay on the internet. Yes the pictures always look great, but there remains a concern until you arrive and see it. In this case the pictures were spot on! We had talked of plans to do several things while in Outer Banks, but once we arrived and saw what a great place and location, we decided to go no further! We had a tremendous view of the ocean from the 3rd floor wraparound porch! The pool was just below. Very clean and inviting! And the ocean was really just steps away! It was a spacious condo and very well stocked kitchen.

Only items to comment on was the hospitality app had the wrong internet access code but it was made quite available on site. There was also nothing said about the pool being closed "out of season". It was clean and appeared to accessible but it wasn't officially opened until later in the week during our stay. And the last comment is when we arrived to pick up the keys at 3:40pm we were told to wait until 4 pm because it was not ready. We were tired from driving and found this a bit extraordinary to have to wait 20 minutes for the keys. They agreed to make some phone calls and after 10 minutes did give us the keys.

We plan on returning to this same condo. It was great and we would highly recommend it!

2018 Two-Week Summer Rental

We had a good experience in this unit. We had stayed at a different unit in this complex many years ago and enjoyed being back on a less busy part of the beach. Positives: 1) elevator and stairs to 3rd floor were convenient, 2) deck was large and well furnished with good views of beach & ocean, 3) house nicely furnished, 4) Internet access was good, 5) found a card table and chairs in the master closet that we set up at night to play cards, which is much better than using large dining room table. Only a few negatives: 1) Prefer electronic door lock number of keys equal to number of bedrooms, 2) first place we've ever stayed without an ice maker, 3) cable TV stations were limited, 4) well-equipped kitchen but almost no tea spoons, 5) louvered outside door on entrance opened in a way that required difficult maneuvering especially with an arm full of groceries or beach gear. While this is an older condo complex, this unit was in good condition and a good value.

Great place to stay. The only issue we had was taken care of quickly. For my husbands disabilities this place was perfect. Only suggestion we would make to make a ramp available to get to the beach.

After the Storm

This was our third stay at Lyttle. It's always fabulous - comfortable and well appointed. We noticed some upgrades in the kitchen- refrigerator, new faucet and the fanciest toaster we've ever seen! It was unfortunate that we observed roaches in the kitchen all week long. We've never had that before. We knew that the storm had just blown through the day before but we did not anticipate the aftermath of bugs. We love the porch that faces the ocean (one of our favorite spots at the condo)but could not use it this year due to the swarming bugs (late afternoon and evening) and dead bugs that had piled up on the porch.

Lyttle is Great!

We have stayed at this condo unit in the past, but it has been 6 years since we were here last. It was like coming home! There have been some changes - new carpet, new furniture in the living, dining and deck areas, and a new fridge. The views are excellent! Eating lunch on the covered deck is the best after a morning on the beach. And morning coffee while watching for dolphins is great too! This a perfect unit for our family to unwind, relax and come together for a nice break from the daily grind. I highly recommend it.

A Pleasant Surprise!

Beach Realty was wonderful in handling our reservation, and we found the unit in great condition, very clean, and lots of personal touches showing that the owners cared about it. Even "emergency water" in case of a power outage! We previously stayed in another Diamond Shoals unit which was very disappointing, dated and not well equipped.
