This past week was Beach Realty's Annual Employee Appreciation week, and as a team-building exercise, we went to the First Flight Adventure Park in Nags Head! We had so much fun together, which is a great way to build up our skills as a team before we enter the busy Summer season! Here is how the process works:
Step 1: Get Your Gear On
After you pay, you get together in groups to get your gear on. Your guide walks you through the process and checks your harness to ensure you put it on correctly!
Step 2: Go Through Ground School
Then you head outside to learn how the process works. Your guide teaches you the three main rules that ensure your safety while on the tower!
Step 3: Have Some Fun!
After ground school you walk over to the tower! There is a platform for family members to stand and watch if they do not want to climb, but they cannot pass through the gate. Everyone must complete either of the first two levels (Tropical Storm & Category 1) before they advance to further levels.
Don't forget to take advantage of their cameras to get some pictures of yourself out there! There is one at the observatory deck at the top of the tower that is great for group photos!
