The Outer Banks is a beautiful place to get married or honeymoon (we recommend you do both)! We have numerous beach towns with their own charms and perks. Duck may be the most unique town in the OBX, as it's different than all of the others. Made up of soundside and oceanside communities, Duck is home to a beautiful downtown area with many attractions. Here are a few reasons why you should rent a Duck home for your wedding!

CHARMING BEACH TOWN

You ask any local and they will say that Duck is unlike any other Outer Banks town. Its charming downtown area with local shops and eateries is second to none! Many communities are within walking distance of the water and things to do, which is a rare commodity! For a wedding, you can take advantage of the public beach for an intimate ceremony following a reception at your rental home!

VARIETY

We have a variety of Duck wedding/event homes that can sleep 9 to 18 guests. Located on the oceanside and soundside you can take advantage of an Outer Banks sunrise or sunset. They also offer a wide range of amenities such as ocean views, private and community pools, hot tubs, elevators, pet-friendly options, as well as keyless entry. Keyless entry is a great option for a large group of people that way you don't have to worry about who has a set of keys on them at all times.

ROMANTIC

What's more romantic than a wedding on the beach?! Enjoy sunrises on the ocean and sunsets on the sound in Duck. There are many waterfront restaurants on the sound with great views of the sunset. There is also a spa if you wanted to have a bachelorette party with the girls or a couples massage on your honeymoon. Speaking of your honeymoon, we recommend renting a house for 1 to 2 weeks so you have time to enjoy your wedding with your family and friends, as well as your honeymoon with each other. There are plenty of things to do for couples or families. Venture up north to see the wild horses and the lighthouse or go south to view the Wright Brothers Memorial.
