As one of the largest, long-standing Outer Banks rental companies, we have over 450 beach house rentals ranging from cozy cottages to impressive oceanfront homes!
The Outer Banks is one of the top destinations on the east coast as it is an amazing place that people are drawn to! The beaches are clean and the ocean is relatively calm, fishing is good and the area is pet and family friendly. You can't find a better equation to a beach vacation. We are also seeing a rise in 'off season' vacations. In the off-season (October - March), there are fewer people, resturants are easy to patron and the beaches are wide open. With that being said, the number of tourists visiting the Outer Banks continues to rise, year after year. The best advice we can give is to book EARLY and always DIRECT, as you will get the best price and your perfect home!
Still need a reason to come to the Outer Banks? Let's talk. . .
Do you live on the east coast? Or even the midwest? The Outer Banks is an easy drive and is consistently ranked as one of the best beaches on the East Coast. Here's a few reasons why the Outer Banks is worth a visit.
Nature is all around you. . .
The beaches are family and pet friendly, offering hundreds of miles of pristine sand to explore. You won't find crowded boardwalks or towering buildings; the shoreline has everything from classic, historical cottages to newly built homes of grandeur. We have accomodations for every vacation experience!
Are you a history buff?
Our island is rich with history! From Roanoake Island to Carova, the beach is littered with tidbits of local historical information. I don't want to bore you with a history lesson, so on your next vacation, be sure to check out some of these must-see sites.
- The Lost Colony Roanoke Island Festival Park
- Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum
- Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station
- Elizabethan Gardens
- Corolla Whalehead Club
- Wright Brother's National Memorial
- Jockey's Ridge State Park
- Lighthouses - make it a day trip and visit all FIVE lighthouses on the island
Local Appetite . . .
What I most look forward to on a beach vacation is the local seafood! It doesn't get much fresher than the local offerings, which were swimming only hours before hitting your dinner table. Our local fish markets have a large selection, as well as a local to help you pick out the perfect meal. Be sure to check out our local steamer restaurants that offer steamer pots to go for the full seaside dining experience!
