Very short walk to Avalon Pier and beach access. Life guarded beach. Corn Hole Game and Park Grill. Washer and Dryer. Bedding: 2 queens, 2 twins and a trundle, 1 full futon.

"Everything you can ask for and more!!!! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hammock Cottage in May, 2012 and could not have asked for anything better. This is a true Outer Banks experience. A mere 2 blocks walk (or bike ride) to the beach and close to some great one-of-a-kind restaurants. The cottage itself is fully stocked with everything you need to spend a week relaxing and visiting with family and friends. Everyone enjoyed swinging and relaxing in the hammocks and the outdoor shower was so convenient and helpful with the kids. It was like having an extra bathroom! So just bring your luggage in, pick a room and have a great time at the beach! Trust me, you'll be booking it again next year!!!!"

"This house was great. Very close to Avalon Pier were we saw many sunrises. My husband and boys fished off pier daily and caught fish most days. Location is great. within walking distance to K-mart for extra sunscreen or a bag of ice, or a quick bite to eat at Awful Arthur's (great Food). Tv in Master bedroom did not get reception and I could not figure out how to get DVD player to work. This was not really a problem because we are not at beach to watch TV. Hammocks were very comfy.
