The new owners have renamed the cottage, "The Carolinian," in honor of the famous resort that once occupied the same site. Your own private boardwalk gives direct beach access to the same pristine white beach and beautiful blue ocean that brought so many guests back year after year to that lovely old resort.

As old Outer Banks hands know, not all OBX beaches are created equal. Just like her predecessor, the new Carolinian is located on one of the widest beaches in the area.

The floor plan is ideal with a huge Great Room (1,500 Sq Ft) that occupies the top floor. Enjoy the sweeping ocean views in comfort and swap stories about the day's adventures.

Entertainment options abound. Each of the 3 levels of the home has a living area so each family group can enjoy their own flavor of entertainment. A DVD player and flatscreen TV is available in every bedroom. A large game room comes with a pool table and everything needed to stage your own poker tournament.

For fitness buffs, The Carolinian provides you with a pass to the local YMCA. The YMCA has fitness classes, babysitting services, racquetball courts, full size gym, olympic size pool, and a water park.

Finally, it's your vacation: Why spend it inside cooking? Use our cabana cooking area and gas grill to prepare meals while enjoying the in ground pool. This cabana has a full size refrigerator, microwave, sink and TV. Lots of deck furniture to accomodate your family around the pool. Pool size is 14x22. 12 CATVs, 6 DVDs, 5 VCRs. Other amenities include game table, large gas grill, books and video library, loft reading area, and picnic table. Lots of pool and patio furniture. Flat screen TV in every bedroom.
