COMMUNITY HELP AND AWARENESS

Beach Realty and Construction/ Kitty Hawk Rentals and our employees stay active and involved in promoting the well being of the Outer Banks community.  We take pride in our community and are committed to helping those less fortunate than ourselves.  With an eye to global awareness, we focus our efforts on a local scale where our individual efforts can make a difference.

THE CHRISTMAS JOY FUND AND THE OUTER BANKS WOMEN’S CLUB ANGEL TREE PROGRAM

As a company, we contribute annually to the Joy Fund and to the Outer Banks Women’s Club to provide holiday gifts for the underprivileged children in our community.  Our annual tradition began almost twenty five years ago and will continue well into the future.

THE OUTER BANKS RELIEF FOUNDATION, INC.

The Outer Banks Relief Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit foundation on the Outer Banks of North Carolina devoted to help people on the Outer Banks in need.  Through their fund raising efforts, one of the foundation’s missions is to distribute its funds raised to help people on the Outer Banks with debilitating diseases such as cancer; another of the foundation’s missions is to assist citizens on the Outer Banks in crisis.

One hundred percent of the net profit of the money raised by the foundation is given back to the people on the Outer Banks.

OBX Sandbar 5K – The Outer Banks only Beach Run/Ocean Swim/Beach Run is set on the wide, flat sands in front of the historic “Old Station” public bath house in Kitty Hawk. http://outerbanksrelieffoundation.com/sandbar4000.htm

THE OUTER BANKS MARATHON

The OBX Marathon – The marathon will take place on Sunday, November 10th, 2013.  We are a charter sponsor for this event, sponsoring a mile marker hydration station to serve runners water. www.outerbanksmarathon.org

OUTER BANKS FOOD PANTRY

We are a proud sponsor of the Outer Banks Food Pantry.  We have bins in our 3 rental offices that accept donations.  We encourage our guests to drop off any unopened, non-perishable items on their check out day.  In 2012 we donated 808bs. of food to the Outer Banks Food Pantry.

ENVIROMENTALISM

We understand how blessed we are to call this beautiful place home and we want to do our part to preserve and conserve resources.  As a Outer Banks rental company we recycle our used paper, glass, bottles, etc.  Our Outer Banks construction and remodeling departments make a conscious effort to not waste materials.  We also use recycled paper for our Outer Banks rental catalog and other forms when possible.
